Pelicans fans absolutely hate Eric Gordon.

    He's a cancer.

    Do not want.

And somehow their oppinion is valid? It often cracks me up when posters run to other teams fan boards and think they are somehow getting inside information. If you were just popping on to Clutchfans for the 1st time you might think the fans in Houston hate James Harden and the Jeremy Lin is twice the player and that only Kevin McHale is preventing Lin from being the true Superstar. See how silly fans can be.

I am from New Orleans and know what fans think about him. They do not like him and do not think he is good.

I've discussed basketball with Hornets/Pelicans fans for years on a daily basis.

They can't wait to get rid of him and have been wanting to trade him for a long time.

    ^This.

Lin's Loyal Legions do think McHale is the Anti-Christ God put on Earth to stop Jeremy Jesus.

Can't we include some cash in the deal to take care of this issue? Bimathug? Or is it a matter if les not wanting to pay up either?

Pelicans fans are not like Rockets fans.

They are pretty unanimous in their dislike for Gordon and Monty.

They don't have these separate factions of fans like on this board.

Eric Gordon would take us to another level this year, but I doubt Morey is going to make a move that affects the 2015 offseason.

Yes you can include about 3million.

And Gordon's contract is even worse than Asik's.

I thnk Morey should revisit he Cleveland trade scenarios. Anthony Bennett is miserable and don't want to play there. They just lost Bynum and are in dire need of a big. Asik for Bennett and another asset might look real appealing to them. They need a big badly. And Asik would get all the startin playin time his body could handle. Maybe Asik for Bennett and varejao.

Look at that effort in that pitiful screen. He doesn't want to be there.

They have tried to shop Gorden for a long long time, but no team will take him
Maybe the Knickes can trade Jr smith & filler for Gorden

The Rockets have just under $1.5 million remaining of their Maximum Annual Cash Limit for this season, after spending the rest of it to dump Royce White on the Sixers to open cap space to sign Dwight.

On July 1, the Maximum Annual Cash Limit will reset, and the Rockets will thereafter have a total of $3.3 million to use in trades until June 30, 2015.

If a team takes Eric Gorden, It's only Suns because they have best health doctors, but any other team will not take Gorden

Is it fair to say that I hate both extremes?

Not adoring Lin does not equate with adoring Harden.

Harden, for all his flaws, is a top 10 player in the NBA.

But if there are many HOFs, I think they spend far less time on the Internet, because I don't get too many "oh yeah!? show me the statistics!" when I criticize Harden's defense or first-half-lethargy.

Rockets coach Kevin McHale was asked on Monday about the status of an Asik trade. He shrugged off the question. “I don’t know,” he said. “If you know something I don’t, let me know.”

“It is a tough sell to bring something like that to your owner,” one league executive said. “You have got to tell him, ‘We’re getting a pretty good player, an $8 million player. Oh, but we have to pay him $15 million. We will be giving him LeBron (James) money. That’s OK, right?’ That’s not really a conversation you want to have.”
