Isn't there an argument that this would drive more people to the WWE Network, resting in a net win for WWE?
There is. But I wonder how many WWE PPV customers either don't have broadband internet access, are not computer savvy or would otherwise prefer to order PPVs via traditional means. For example, don't some sports bars show these PPVs? Would it be a pain for them to hook a computer or whatever device up to a TV?
Buffalo Wild Wings show some WWE pay-per-vew events. Also, The WWE Network might also affect the "free" online streaming websites. The same links that were used for UFC and Boxing fights.
Damn. Daniel Bryan is the most over guy right now. I thought they screwed it up with him and the Wyatt's. That's how you write a storyline. The Uso's picked up a win and looked really good, while furthering the Bryan angle.
