You're throwing webster at us? The term dunk has evolved into something more than jumping high into the air and throwing the ball down through a basketball. The pioneers of the old skool dunkers laughs at your webster dictionary!!!
"Humphries wants to go hide somewhere" ...and as soon as sh** gets real on the court so will Blake Griffin
Hump did his job. Flinging a basketball as hard as you can at the rim from six inches above it and a foot away really is a low percentage shot, Blake just happened to make that one. Not a dunk, at any rate.
didnt grab the rim so its not anything amazing people overreact to every griffin "dunk" nothing to see here
Nice play and I'm not taking that away from Blake but I agree, it would be more badass if he could bring it down on the rim...cause you know sure as hell that's what he intended to do. This is more like he didn't quite make it and got lucky with the throw down.
not like it matters, but im in the 'not a dunk' crowd. also sports center literally showed this highlight 5 consecutive times last time. F I V E!!!
The funny thing is that Bynum's reaction was to Pau getting dunked on by Griff. Some teammate support, eh?
Impressive... I still think Deandres recently and Lebron's 20 ridiculous dunks this season are better
And after Dwight's superman dunk, it's evolved back to the original definition since that shot won the Dunk contest. Precedence has been (re)set.
