Last night I finally got to meet fast Eddie Johnson one of the greatest Rockets of all time(even in his short stint) The Suns played the Nets last night and Eddie does the broadcasts for the Suns. The game wound up being a very good game even though I was only there to meet E.J. Clif Robison missed a 3 at the Buzzer and the sorry Nets won by 2 points. So after the game I waited for Eddie to take his his head set off and get up and than I told I was a big fan of his since 89 and I gave him a nice 8x10 photo of him an hakeem from the 97 Rockets at Nets game, He thanked me and I told him it was dream come true when he came to the Rockets in 97. He was a cool guy as I expected, It was a dream come true to meet one of favorite players of all time. ------------------
DirecTV had the PHX broadcasters for the Rockets game. Eddie did a pretty decent job and was no "homer" for the Suns. He was actually quite objective. I would think he would be interesting to meet and talk hoops with. ------------------ GATER
