I have a friend of mine that was in a band in the UK in the early 90s, and this was their name.

I have a CD they put together of various versions of their songs, and I have been listening to them, and frankly, I think they are awesome.

Would anyone like to hear some obscure MP3s from a band that almost made it?

Reminds me of something else I read today...

Every Friday, the staff at Crazy Apple Rumors Site answers common help questions based on our vast experience with Apple products and our fervent belief that we know more than you do.

Q: I've been using Apple's new music service for a few days now and I'm very confused. None of my favorite bands seem to be available. You know, the truly up and coming bands of our time.
    A: Like who, for example?
Q: Well, Teenage Nympho Whores On Crack for starters. The pre-emminent punk/fusion band of the 2000s.
A: Teenage Nympho Whores On Crack? I can't say I'm familiar with their work.
Q: Oh, they're wildly popular... in Montgomery County, Maryland.
    A: Ah.
Q: Yes. Well, to be exact, the area just surrounding Rockville. More precisely, the neighborhood of Farsta Court. If you want to be specific, 6 Farsta Court. In the garage.
A: I see. You wouldn't happen to be in Teenage Nympho Whores On Crack, would you?
Q: Uh... well, yeah... I play triangle.
A: Let me get this straight, you play triangle in a punk/fusion band?
Q: Well, I... don't have any... formal triangle training per se so... I mostly just hold the triangle. Also, the other guys say my sense of rythm isn't so good.
A: Uh-huh. Well, my suggestion to you would be to burn a demo CD and send it to Apple. Or, to save time, you could just drive down the Rockville Pike and toss it out the window.
Q: Oh. Uh.... thanks. Any suggestion on where along the Pike I should throw it out the window?
A: Mmm, near the Montgomery Donuts.
    Q: Great. Thanks.

By the way, a little background on this band.

The lead music critic for the London Times was asked who his favorite 3 bands of all time were, he listed.

    1. Pink Floyd
    2. Genisis
    3. Beware the Green Monkey.

They were the top act in the club scene in Manchester UK during the early 90s, they got a few record labels fighting to sign them and ultimatly this broke the band up...

The bass player, my friend, is now a producer in the Video games industry.

    Life is funny sometimes.
