Winning solves all. They were ragging on Mark Jackson the way CF does McHale a few weeks ago.... probably not so much anymore lol.
I remember it well and still can't believe Rick Barry was so clueless. He could have ended up making the whole event unsalvageable.
Warrior fans are passionate, easily the best in the NBA. They LOVED Monta and hated the moves by the new regime because of their blind support.
This is a relatively new sentiment. I've been following the NBA since about 1984, and only in the last few years have I heard this narrative.
Warriors is the type of teams which wins a lot of games in the regular season but get eliminated in the 1st round.
It started in 2007 when they upset Dallas in the first round. Before that, I always heard that Kings fans were the most passionate.
Are you mad because their fans stay loyal through tough times, but the lakers' fans are jumping ship?
I was at a Warriors open practice a couple of years back right after Monta was traded before the season started. When Lacob was announced, everyone booed him. Ridiculous. The Bay really loved Monta. Monta have it all.
The point I want to make is that guard-driven teams with little frontcourt scoring usually won't make it deep into the playoffs, unless you have Michael Jordan. And this Warriors team is one.
Hahahahaha What a nightmare season for Faker fans. Just last year they thought they were starting another dynasty and now, with more than half the season to go, they are in full on tank mode and rooting for the Warriors.
Warrior Fans are indeed pretty awesome. Wish the Toyota centre was half as booming as the Warriors stadium
Heard that same thing said about OKC fans...then I went to OKC to see the Rockets play the Thunder and found it to be mythical.
