OK. Shump may be finally healed from his knee injury. He looks more explosive, using his legs more in his jump shots and just has better energy than he did earlier. Knicks may be on a good role. With Dwight, maybe they have to watch a lot of film. I seem to remember a better time with Parsons and Howard especially getting him the ball down low. But now it's not happening as consistently. The whole team with Dwight has to figure it out.
I don't know. He said that if we had won, Lin fans would be happy. So I simply asked the question whether Harden fans are happy. Simple question.
I don't think there many (if any) posters here who are only fans of Harden. I could be wrong, but I'd be surprised.
All player fans are welcome as long as they behave accordingly o the teams best interest.Jeremy Lin is one of the best teammates and guys on our squads has allways put the teams best interests ahead of self glory so hopefully some of his fans can act accordingly.
the point is that the guy I was replying to made a lame *** remark indicating that Lin fans would only be happy if Lin actually played. no one cared to wonder what kind of statement he was making....
A win is a freaking win so what's the big fuse all about. We cant expect this team to win every game in a beautiful fashion. The Knicks best two quality teams on their Texas swing. So please tell me why two contending teams couldn't beat a scrub team like the Knicks. I'll tell you " Any Given Day" , a scrub team can beat good teams. These jokers almost beat our Rockets but we prevailed. Lol let it go people. Hahaha I bet the Spurs and Mavericks fans are p*******.
I am a Harden Fan I am a Lin Fan I am a McHale fan I am a Howard fan I am a Beverley fan I am a Brooks fan I am a Parsons fan I am not much of an Asik fan right now. Because I am a Rockets fan. I am happy we won the Knicks game. Does this help answer your question?
Knicks are great. Beat the hated Mavs, beat the rival Spurs, gave away the game to the Rockets. Perfect.
I can't speak for everyone but it doesn't matter to me whether it was Lin or not. I was at the game and asking my buddy if he had any idea why BOTH Lin and Howard were sitting and why Brooks and Garcia were in the game for so long, since it was obvious that neither was playing well. We were both puzzled. I do think that more Rocket's fans would be questioning McHale's decision making if Harden had been playing pretty well and then kept on the bench for much of the second half and 4th quarter while Garcia or Brewer played in his place and went 1-8 with poor defense. People would think that McHale was crazy if he said- well, Francisco and Ronnie were really feeling it tonight and I just went with who I thought was hot. I mean come on, the scenario I just came up with would only exist in fantasy land. So take the Lin factor out of it and just look at it as why keep a guy who was playing poorly in the game instead of the better player when you are trying to win the game?
Yes we would be wondering why in that situation, because Harden is a superstar. Comparing Lin to Harden is not comparing apples to apples, Harden is a much higher caliber of player.
Two low-iq plays by JR Smith in a row? Maybe he wants to maintain low trade value so Knicks doesn't find trade partners and he stays in NY...
My dear. I compared the mechanism of poor decisions revealing a hidden agenda. Apparently you missed the point. I diid not say that segregation was equal to Lin's situation. I my self was told that I would have to leave a Wall Street firm if I wanted a higher position because I was not Protastant , and it is a Protastant firm. My supervisor who was Catholic said this to me as he would also have to leave the firm. People with less credentials could stay in the firm. The reason given to the ones who had to leave was that they were good but just did not fit well in the Wall Street culture. This was poor decision making that revealed a hidden agenda.Harvard told Alan Dershowitz,a well know harvard professor, that Harvad has the donut admission policy. They try to reduce the number of students from the suburbs of cities. Dershowitz said you mean the bagel admission policy. Dershowitz knew that most Jewish students who do well are from the suburbs,so their admission to Harvard will be limited. This is the way reasons for a persons behavior reveals a hidden agenda. I was not admitted to one University while I got into five others including an Ivy league school. When I called the school that did not admit me. They first said it was my Loe GRE scores. I told them to look. My scores on all parts of the GRE's were over 740. They then said it was because I got a C in a course that I took seven years ago. Poor decision. I later found out from someone who knew the policy of the school that they had too many people like me and the people who donate to them would not donate if more were admitted. The reason they gave me revealed a hidden agenda. That is what I was trying to explain. You have made the wrong assumption . I feel you owe me an apology for characterizing me as insensitive.
