this is probably the stupidest crap I have ever read EVER! I don't know where to start as to how stupid it is... lets see...how do people determine the value of players during draft? hmmm... I dunno.... FROM PAST PLAYS FROM OTHER GAMES!!! how do players make reputations for themselves... hmmmm .... I dunno... FROM PAST PLAYS FROM OTHER GAMES!!! how do players show that they are good and capable... hmmmm... I dunno... FROM PAST PLAYS FROM OTHER GAMES!!! how do people/GMS/Coaches determine what players are capable of doing and what their potentials are?... hmmm... I dunno.. FROM PAST PLAYS FROM OTHER GAMES!!! I can't believe that some one is so biased that he would go out and say something as stupid as this... If you don't use past games, then what do you use? do you have some sort of time machine that you use to see future events and make your decisions from there? do you wipe out everything and start from scratch every game and just go...ummm... you start, and you and you and you... dont ask me why...i'm just guessing... I don't even know what is stupider, this or the fact that I saw this stupid **** in the main page being quoted as if its some sort of awesome post when in fact it just so full of stupids.
Hahahaha - the lengths people go to. Are you serious the front page of this website carried this in quote? CF mods should be ashamed of themselves.
Jodie Meeks makes 1 mil this year 39% from 3 takes 5 per game Marco Bellineli makes 2.7 mil this year 50% from 3 Gerald Green makes 3.5 mil this year 39% from 3 takes 6.7 per game Wesley Mathews makes 6 mil this year 43% from 3 takes 6.1 per game Kyle Lowry makes 6 mil this year 38% from 3 takes 5.9 per game Kyle Korver makes 6.7 mil this year 47% from 3 Trevor Ariza makes 7 mil this year last year left on contract 42% from 3 takes 6.2 per game I could go on... -------------------------------------------------------------------- On the flipside Rockets Players who shoot three's regularly James Harden makes 13 mil this year 32% from 3 takes 6.4 per game Patrick Beverly make less than a mil this year 33% from 3 takes 5 per game Francisco Garcia makes 1 mil this year 34.5%(Career 36%) from 3 takes 4 per game Omri Casspi makes 1 mil this year 35%(Career 35%) from 3 takes 4 per game Chandler Parsons makes less than a mil this year 37% from 3 takes takes 4.4 per game Jeremy Lin makes 8 mil this year 37% from 3 takes 3.3 per game Aaron Brooks maks 1 mil this year 39% from 3 takes 3.3 per game Garcia and Casspi are three point shooters who can't really shoot three's they are both pretty much at their career average, which is kinda scary. Harden and Beverly should stop taking three's. Harden should attack more IMO and lower the 3's to just 3 per game. The only person over 38% percent this year is Aaron Brooks him and Parsons are basically steals at their pay.
Garcia has a noticably slow and low release, for all the time i've watched him, it feels like even a late close out is enough to change the shot, he often shoots semi fade aways on shots that Delfino could step into for example.
I certainly wasn't going to mention that, but what I will do is add another chump to my ignore list. I don't have too many members on it now, but I'm fed up with the stupidity that's been derailing the game thread after a win, and not for the first time. I'll be putting at least a half dozen more there based on the responses after the post-game discussion, that not only put the ClutchFans Limited off the rails, but have managed to lower the collective IQ of the GARM with their obsessive fixation on one player and their percieved "slights" to their hero. The irony is that I'm a fan of that player, as a search could easily prove. Of course, most of the culprits can't search because they have never contributed to the Tip Jar to support the site. Same here. I was pumped after we signed him for what appeared to be a value contract, but where has that Garcia gone, and why has he gone there, wherever the heck "there' is?
Response I am not saying Lin should look unhappy or mope around. He should be happy, but my point is he seemed ecstatic. I am afraid that if Mac sees him so happy after he's been benched the entire 4th quarter, he will keep on benching Lin. Of course, you should be cheering on your teammates whether you have been benched or not, but that's not what I am saying.
I couldn't believe someone wrote that. A person does "earn" the "right" to play by his past performance. I am glad you responded as you did. You are right on point. TJones,Casspi earned their right to play. I am glad you mentioned the main page quote. I was shocked to see it. It is just advertising the bias that is on GARM.
Does any player out of college have a "right" to be drafted, based on his play? Players aren't entitled to a particular draft position. Its up to the teams. Its one thing to say a team is incompetent for not drafting a player at a particular spot, and another to say a team is being "unfair" or denying the right of some player by not drafting him.
response Agree that you should earn the right to play. That's the fairest way. Ti say otherwise is flat out deceitful.
response Mac is that stupid if that's what you are trying to say. Oh, you are trying to say you are also.
Are we talking about the Memphis game where Dwight Howard only played 18 minutes and sat out the entire 4th quarter?
lol yes. You believe that our coach seeing Lin happy in the 4th while on the bench, probably because his team came back and won, will be justification to continue benching him in the future. Which again is something he has only done 5-10 times in the 100 or so games Lin has played and I am the stupid one. I love Lin fans.
That poster has a pure gold rep. Hopefully his earlier posts were great because that was a pure garbage post to say players don't earn the right to play based on past, and especially recent games. Lin helps you win 2 nights in the 4th and here you have aclose game against a team that he usually torches. No brainer you put him in in the 4th after properly benching him after he got out of control.
