As long as CP3 completely returns to form well before the regular season ends, this won't hurt the Clippers at all. They are a legit Finals contender. In fact, the time off may help during their playoff run.
He did it while embellishing contact and injured himself on the landing, well played CP3, well played
Haha I was only on suicide watch when I had six grand riding on game 6 of the Clipps phx series. This is just a blip, worst case we drop a few seeds (but at least keep pace with okc who are even worse without westbrick lol). We'll be fine tbh. Tbh. Tbh.
I'm not sure who has a better backup pg, I like Reggie, but CP3 systems seem to be the only thing Collison is good at.
You mean 10-3 after Rudy Gay left? The article was written before the Wizards game tonight. http://nba.si.com/2014/01/03/toronto-raptors-improved-rudy-gay-trade/ 2Pat came in big though.
They don't assist in LaLa land? (Except for that Chris Paul guy) <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Kendall Marshall (20 points, 15 assists) is the first Lakers player since 2002 to have 20-15 in a game (Kobe had 23 and 15 vs. Washington).</p>— Mike Bresnahan (@Mike_Bresnahan) <a href="https://twitter.com/Mike_Bresnahan/statuses/419346241848225792">January 4, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> and <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Kendall Marshall dagger.</p>— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) <a href="https://twitter.com/LakersReporter/statuses/419344177000751107">January 4, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Pat didn't play the first couple games right after the trade because it took some time for the teams to complete the physicals on all the players. So, he's only played in 11 games as a Raptor so far (10 before tonight): http://espn.go.com/nba/player/stats/_/id/4264/patrick-patterson
Marshall took advantage. Good for him... good for the Lakers to stay mediocre and get no high draft spot.
Gotta respect the Lakers. They lost their players one by one and they always find a way to hang on and not give up. People are giving MDA too little credit. He's a great basketball mind. Too bad he can't coach ego.
Everyone is always talking Kobe and PJ up for taking that team with Odom and scrubs to the 7 seed in '06, but Nash and D'Antoni took a team with Marion and scrubs to the 2 seed and wcf that year. The system works.
I always loved Kendalls game, I was a fan when he was at Carolina. Its refreshing to see a pass first PG. Hope he succeeds in the league.
Well, he sounds dumb in interviews and hasn't gotten along with some of his star players. Also, Laker fans have unrealistic expectations after having been gifted so many players and titles.
Prob bc his teams underachieved in the 2 largest media markets... easy target. I agree that he isn't as bad as a lot make him out to be.
I think he just make awkward Pringles faces and does not stress Defense enough. He looks more like a stand up comedian than a coach. And he deviated from making small market teams better, developing talents to going to big cities. And he failed at that.
