Isaid this a while ago. He was rehabbing with the teams physical staff and taking his time till Asik gets traded and he be slotted back straight away. This guy can still give us a solid 5 to 10 minutes a night.
This who I think morey hasn't waived Covington or brewer for anyone yet. He's waiting for camby Allstar break. Lin & asik will be traded for anything he can get, he's hoping for an expiring contract
Marcus Camby on track to return in 2014, would like to play for Rockets Free agent center Marcus Camby told FOX 26 Sports he is rehabilitating his left foot after undergoing surgery to repair a torn plantar fascia and remains on target to return in 2014 for his 18th season in the NBA. "That's my plan," Camby said in a text message to FOX 26 Sports. After he was waived by the Houston Rockets in October, Camby underwent the procedure and believes he'll be able to return to the court next month. "I'm doing good," Camby said. "I'm able to jog on a treadmill now. So just still in therapy. "Hoping in another month or so to start back on the court." Camby said after he was waived by the Rockets he hoped to be able to return to his hometown team this season and that is still the case. "(My) preference is to stay home," said Camby, who lives in Pearland. ^Thats great news, but not sure this team has a month to spare Marcus. The Asik situation (injury & trade issues) might have the front office looking for more immediate & long term relief. Its nice to know that he should be ready as expected at the end of February, but you'd have to think that a more viable option would become available by the trade deadline at least. Nice to know that the Rockets have that in their back pocket though at least.
