I totally agree with this. And it gets even worse when people are so fanatic that they are willing to die (so they can get 72 virgins in heaven or whatever) just to kill others. That sort of death cult ideology is the biggest threat to world peace.

The u.s is the peacekeeper of the world.
Without the u.s as the only super power, we could witness more conflicts and war zones.

the u.s wants to inflict democracy, and change the world for the better.

I think that the u.s capitalism and free world market, made a lot of people love her, but also hate her.

the biggest threats to world peace IMHO are:

    1) Russia- usually oppose everything the u.s does.
support the opposite countries. sell weapons and build reactors to unstable countries.deny freedom of speech for her sitizens, and arrest govermant opposition. no gay rights and no real say to her citizens.

    2) china - citizens don't have many rights, and is a country who will eventually will become a second superpower. ( very dangerous for a country that isn't a democracy ). they support nort Korea, they oppres the Tibetan people, and control most of today's economy, and preety much on the rise.

3)- Iran - they support and sponsor terrorist groups like Hamas and hizzboula.
they are in a conflict with Israel, saudy Arabia, Syria, and the entire sunny world.
Their government is a puppet of revolutionary religious people, who controll the country, and oppose any liberal acts. they hang people for act that in the u.s, are daily and normal.
they are a danger for the stability of the middle east, and the world, if they will able to get the A bomb. theyvdecleard the destruction of Israel so the M.A.D option is on the table. Sunny Saudi Arabia declared that they will fight Shia Iran if they will be close to it.

Without the u.s and the civilized western world, this world would be a much darker and unpleasant place to live in.

Then again, we haven't had any wars where 50+ million people die in a 6 year period.

    So there's that...

#3 Pakistan: It's an artificial state with a shaky and corrupt political apparatus with a lot of popular support for the most violent strains of Islamism. It also has nuclear weapons and a longstanding hatred of the world's soon-to-be most populous country.

#2 North Korea: An unstable country with a huge military and nuclear weapons. Even better, it sits right in the middle of three of the world's most important economies - China, Japan, and South Korea. The Kim regime is in a very precarious position, and nothing good is going to follow its fall.

#1 China: China is a huge, rich country in the middle of the world's most vital strategic region, and it wants to replace the US as the economic, financial, cultural, diplomatic, and military hub of the world. Very soon, you're going to see two rich countries with large militaries and politicians who don't dare look weak to their constituents locked in a zero-sum game in the Pacific, and the only way it won't end in terrible violence is if nobody on either side does anything stupid. Wish us luck.

Responses to direct attacks from the North Koreans and Al Qaeda, respectively?

And are you interested in making an actual argument, or are you just interested in sniping directly at me in your "Evil America, Evil Japan" rants?

Lol, your sig is so Japanese.

What is your response to the naysayers who say girls don't find that attractive? Ie - people use the family excuse as a crutch because they don't want to act as an autonomous unit.

Do you think it contributes to lack of risk taking and insecurity in Japanese society?

the vast majority of the world's central banks, except for a small handful, all operate closely together in tandem. borders and nations are but a farce for the cable tv watchers and olympic games.

Was South Korea an American state ? Did the Afghan and Iraqi government launch a land invasion of California that I'm not aware if ?

Is there any particular reason why you feel the need to claim I'm "ranting" against the U.S and some pacific island country that I don't recall mentioning in this thread ?

Don't ****ing play coy. It's perfectly obvious what your comment about "denying warmongers" and "prosperity sphere" were referring to, given your past history.

An organization based in Afghanistan launched an attack against the United States, we demanded that Afghanistan unconditionally turn them over, they refused as they had supported the organization to begin with. Meanwhile, North Korea launched an attack on our allies, no different from Britain and France declaring war on Hitler even though he never invaded them.

Though nice job in being dishonest by trying to slip in Iraq. Again.

How anyone can still be so naive to think that America fights its wars for global stability or peace is beyond me.

And Islam is a red herring. Al Qaeda = Saudi Arabia.
