Howard was a WANT, & iggy plays better D than parsons, shoots around the same, just takes less shots, runs floor the same. Iggy can play the 2 or 3 so he could've backed up both or started either one. Seem like parsons is going to get 10-11mill iggy got 11mill, we would have parsons bird rights if we wanted to keep him around. Asik is better on D than Howard, we can throw him a certain players to stop them. Iggy is the same he can stop certain players, parsons can't do that. In playoffs you want players for certain matchups we would've been one of the top defensive teams with iggy here
We should win this game tonight, when bev, asik, smith come back We will see a big improvement because of our depth. Bev - hustle & D can get other players to play harder Asik- stop certain players, give Howard rest, rebounds & rim protection when Howard's out smith- even tho he fouls often, he sets SOLID screens for our guards, always looking to catch & finish, can rebound box out good when he gets it going
knicks The Knicks beating the Spurs couldn't have happened at a better time. It means the team won't be taking the Knicks lightly, and not think they'll cruise to a win. If McHale needed a motivating factor for this game, he got it in spades.

The two things that gave HOU problems the last time the two teams played were: 1) Melo going off on offense, and 2) Bargnani giving Dwight Howard trouble. A part of the Dwight-Bargnani problem was self-afflicted. Dwight kept on going after Bargnani in straight post-ups, which is actually the one (and likely only) defensive strength that Bargnani has. Bargs has always done pretty well guarding the guy with the ball in front of him, he just tends to get lost in rotations and also doesn't grab rebounds. The way to go after him is to keep his man on the move for garbage baskets (rebounds, lobs, etc.) rather than letting him know what's coming. Also, the Knicks will have Tyson Chandler starting this time and Melo likely at the SF, so the matchups would be an interesting thing to watch.
