Pessimists need optimism to continue with their act. At least stay a pretender at the 4th spot.
We need to continue defeating the Spurs!

Rockets more talented than the bad teams we lost too, we win those games and we are in the top 3. They need a real coach.

Every year fans say this, and use it as a reason to let a coach go. Every year thereafter the same thing happens. That's what nchan's post was trying to state.

Go to the TWolves board and ask them how many games they believe Rick Adelman costed them this year. Go to the Spurs board and ask how many games Popovich cost them this year. Go look at clutchfans archives to read how many games Adelman, JVG, and Rudy T has cost this team.

Let me tell you a little secret. Every team every season has lost many, MANY games that their fans believe they should've won.

Really? The Knicks beat the Spurs? Did not see that one coming. Maybe they'll be extra tired tomorrow and play on dead legs? Anyway, our boys better bring it!

Why would you be worried? Their 10-21 record says a lot more than any one win against a good team. We beat the Spurs twice and we're still horrible.

I don't think that the Knicks fans have had any of the good times they had when Lin played there. I also do not think that they wanted to get rid of him. Melo did and they obeyed. The Knick also could not take on a contract that the Rockets gave to Lin. IMO JLins contract is a bit steep but not by too much. He can be a starting PG in the league in a suitable constellation. I think that is a great compliment to Lin.

I wonder if Popovic, Brooks and Spoelstra are going to be fired today after loosing to the Knicks, Nets and GSW? In Houston they would not survive another day and half of the roster would be going as well. SA, OKC and Miami fans would also demand trading for Melo, DWill and KD immediately.

Sorry for being a bit sarcastic, but lets give the Rockets some time to get the system working. Just as a reminder, Miami was not able to win the championship in their first run despite LeBron, Wade and Bosh being seasoned veterans. The Rockets team is very young and inexperienced. Give them some time to learn the trade. In fact, considering the roster, the Rockets play outright fantastic BB.

This year is definitely different than prior years.

When you have the best center and arguably the best shooting guard in the entire league, expectations should be higher. Against most of our past opponents we were the more talented team, so the expectations were that we should have won those games. The fact that we have lost many games (6, 7?) that we should have won ON PAPER, results in fans and players being frustrated.

You're making too much sense. Watch other teams, they all have issues. Even the Heat and OKC.

The last time I checked, a 21-13 record is much better than any team we've had since Yao and T-Mac were still wearing uniforms.

Sure, but this team could easily be at the 25+ wins at this point if not for some losses to supposedly inferior teams. I am not complaining much about the current record as some folks, but injuries and just a pure lack of effort (imo, more of the latter) had something to do with a possible stellar record.

Considering all the bad teams we have lost to so far this year, there is no guarantee we will win this game. If this were last year, the Knicks would have no chance. They will be blown out by our beautiful high octane uptempo ball moving style of basketball as in last year. But this year, the Rockets have regressed to the selfish iso hero ball so typical of the Knicks. So we will probably lose because the Knicks know more how to play iso balls than us. LOL. Why McHale allows his team to move away from the highly effective ball sharing and ball movement style of play is beyond me and many other fans. If the Knicks beat us, then we can say the Rockets should stop the talk of a championship caliber team. We have regressed instead of moving ahead as a team, and McHale has a lot to answer for that.

And with his good nature, he probably will accept responsibility for the loss with humility. LOL. We need to stop the hero ball and give the ball to Lin and play fast paced uptempo ball like last year and the Knicks will have zero chance against us.

    Garcia finally hits a shot...Harden goes 2 for 9 and nets 47 points...Rockets cruise out to a 34 point lead...end up losing by 20.

Rockets Power Dancers have dancer only meeting...Harden and Slim Thug make it rain from the top of the godzillatron.

    Sura faints.
