I get the random part of it, but you're not the only one who keeps bringing it up. This trade idea is on the levels of leBron for asik and Lin, yet I don't see many people throwing that out there.
Josh Smith is feuding with the coach in Detroit and fans are ready to give him up for peanuts. Maybe a 3 way trade moving Asik out and Smith in?
Morey should try to bring back Jordan Hill who can play pf/c aside Howard Our defensive rebound is awful right now, Jordan Hill will be able to give our solution
i was under the impression that they can't wait to get rid of him, haven't really been keeping up with how he is playing though.
Screw Rondo…how bout bradley Screw Rondo…how bout bradley? Lin and Asik for bradley, wallace, lee Bradley/beverly Harden/lee parsons/wallace jones/ howard/
Morey should bring back Lowry I would trade Harden for Lowry & Terrence Ross & Amir Johnson Fire McHale, hire Toronto's head coach who is a champion coach
Houston Out: Jeremy Lin,Omer Asik,Covington,2014 2nd round pick(from Philly) Houston In:Jameer Nelson,Glen Davis,Thabo Sefolosha,1st Round Pick(from Dallas) Orlando Out:Jameer Nelson,Glen Davis,Arron Afflalo,E.Moore,2016 pick(from Philly) Orlando In:Jeremy Lin,Jeremy Lamb,Reggie Jackson,Kendrick Perkins,2014 2nd Round Pick Oklahoma Out:Kendrick Perkins,Jeremy Lamb,Reggie Jackson,Thabo Sefolosha, 1st Round Pick(from Dallas) Oklahoma In:Omer Asik,Arron Afflalo,E.Moore,R.Covington,2016 1st Round Pick(from Philly) Lineups for the teams involved. Houston: Jameer/Bev/Brooks Harden/Thabo/Garcia Parsons/Casspi Jones/Davis/Smith Howard/D-MO -We do it for the reason of improving the bench this year and get a PG who is a floor general and is a veteran he will get McHales respect and he has experience playing with Howard. Also we get a pick for a deep draft which we can use to draft a backup C or a Wing player with potential. We also get Thabo who is always solid off the bench and can put defensive energy in there with Bev.Davis also is a bull and can also rebound and at times can be a tough player. We are not gunna win the chip this year might as well other parts of the team like getting consistent bench players.(Davis,Thabo, future 1st round player) Oklahoma Lineup: Westbrook/Fisher/Moore Afflalo/ Durant/Jones/Brewer Ibaka/Collision Asik/Adams -Oklahoma does it to get a starting SG in the league only downside is they will have no good guards, is it worth getting a better Center and Starting SG who scores and defends? Also gets a pick for 2016 Orlando Lineup: Lin/Jackson Victor/Lamb Harris/Harkless Nicholson/Maxiell Nikola/Perkins Orlando does it to get alot of young players who are also capable of being all starts when develop this also leaves them bad enough to take for a top pick while gaining assets.
Meh. I can see Lin and Asik gone in a 3 way with Deng and Dunleavy to Houston. Atlanta deals a lower valued #1, dead wood and Antic going to Houston. Houston then deals the #1 to Chicago along with Lin. In a second deal DMO and a future #1 and filler go to Toronto for Kyle Lowry. You get a PG to replace Lin (Lowry)... Dunleavy to back up Harden and Parsons, an elite defender and capable PF if you play small ball in Luol Deng and a back up center. Garcia is pushed out, the bench depth improves... Defense improves greatly... And you increase cap flexibility. C - Howard/Antic PF - Deng/Jones/Parsons SF- Parsons/Deng SG- Harden/Dunleavy PG - Lowry/Beverly/Brooks
You are delusional if you think Lowry is coming back while McHale is still here and Harden is making a name for being selfish.
You do know Lowry's contract expires this season, right? Morey isn't giving up a first rounder for a 3 month Lowry rental.
Lowry was willing to play for McHale prior to leaving Houston and is going to be a free agent, he would gladly play for McHale as the starting point guard.
I am well aware he is a free agent, which makes him more attractive to Morey. A future protected #1 for a starting PG that allows you to deal Lin for Deng? Yeah, I think Morey would jump at it.
He didn't have much of a choice then.... I want to see the deal with Chicago to happen, but Lowry isn't a long term solution. If we deal Lin for Deng and a first rounder we seriously need to address the PG position. PB and AB would give us the worst starting and backup PG in the league.
Asik to Hawks, Deng & Lowry to Rockets, Brewer & Carroll & Lin to Bulls, Dmo + Brand (+ a 2nd round pick i guess, like knicks one) to Raptors, passed the test on ESPN trade machine ... HAwks get their big while horford is out, Bulls get a scoring PG to fill in for Rose and 2 defensives SF to replace Deng, Raptors gets pieces to rebuild (Brand is an expiring + Dmo/Valanciunas r, obviously, fellow countrymen so that could help both). We, we would get 2 good defenders at the 2 positions we need it the most so i guess we would be good, + both have expiring contracts ... dont think it will happen though ...
