Stop attacking Harden, he just follows the game plan unless told otherwise. And stop blaming Lin standing passively at the corner, he just follows the game plan unless told otherwise. However, you can blame TJones, Casspi for playing good defense on PnR while the others just adhere to the team culture on defense.

I don't blame Harden. He is a great baller. However, he allows himself things that he would not tolerate from anybody else. In that sense he needs to grow up. I watched the game again and in my opinion the offense was best when the second unit was in. Unfortunately the shots were not falling, but the game was much more innovative and free. The starters need to revitalize their offensive game.

Real talk - isn't the 6th seed better for the Rockets anyways? The Clippers are our kryptonite. #rationalization

Rockets lose by 4 points. They miss 12 free throws and Harden plays poorly the final 2 minutes. It's as simple as that.

Harden and Carmelo Anthony are similar

    Scorer who don't play defense.

Kings are just a bad match up for us in a strange way. I actually predicted the first loss to the Kings a few weeks ago. This was a close game though, and should have been ours if we weren't so sloppy.

Lin is fighting through screens now, all of a sudden. Didn't you notice?

Im watching the highlights when we came back and beat OKC with our mediocre team and just seeing how Hardens defense was when he left Courtney Lee wide open in the corner for the go ahead basket.

How are they a bad matchup? If you don't play defense, make dumb turnovers, and brick free throws, you'll make any team look like they've got your number.

It is so early in the season, I think you want to win as many games as possible, and worry about the position later!

If we're sitting here worrying about who we play in the first round, then we're not a contender. In fact, we're probably not even a 2nd round team. A championship caliber team would fear no one heading into the playoffs. Sure, some opponents are tougher matchups than others, but the Rockets and their fans should be confident they can beat anyone, not worrying about which playoff bracket they wind up in and who they're matched up with.

That's all well in good. But what you are forgetting is Dallas and GSW who if they get hot could push us to 7th or 8th seeding. Now add to that the possibility that Minnesota wakes up, and then we are fighting for a playoff spot. The team doesn't have much time it's midseason. They need to figure it out now, this is when teams start to gel and go on runs, Rockets look like they are regressing.

Last night I made a simple statement during the game, Rockets are in danger of slipping to 8th seed. Someone got mad at me for it, but I didn't say it to rub it in. I said it out of shock. The problems what the team are purely related to coaching, by the time Morey figures that out it will be next season.

    He got help

On PnR, both TJones and Casspi stepped forward to slow down Isaiah. Good coaching on PnR, I must say.

Where did this concept come from that to be successful you need defense at the PG spot? I thought you needed playmaking/scoring. Sick of this being used as something to prop up Beverley. Not to mention his juggernaut defense is about as real as Bigfoot. I haven't seen it. Guards still blow by him and he also gets screened off easily.
