The Rockets got blown out in OKC and lost to SAC. They are still missing Beverley, Asik and Smith. The team is battered and tired. The Twin Exec VP for Basketball Operations lineup they have employed since Gersson Rosas's return has been exploited by opponents as Rosas and Gianluca Pascucci struggle to figure out spacing and minutes issues at the office. A dark storm cloud hangs over the team's heads. How long will it last?
Tired ? Portland beat OKC on the road last night & they were on a road trip b2b... OKC had rest th day before, How long will the excuses last should be the question
Losses to both NYK and LA would not shock me, unfortunately. I'm done being hopeful and will just let them pleasantly surprise me, if they can.
This thread reminds me of this random post from last year. I still think it's crazy how accurate it was! http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=231939&page=23
Not that simple. They had 2 days rest before that road trip, hell the week before they had a 4 day break before playing the Clippers... that schedule is not even close to what ours has been. I don't think it lasts very long, the Knicks are usually good medicine for the Rockets.
Next games is the last for the loosing streak! The Rockets need to get healthy....their bench is depleted.
I hope this is a freaking 2 game losing streak. If we lose to the Knicks AND the Fuking Lakers I will put on a paper bag when watching future Rockets games! I won't be ridiculed by my 5 yo son laughing at me!
A couple of weeks ago, there was a whole lot of chatter about how GSW is totally overrated and shouldn't be included in the same discussion as the Rockets/Clips. They were sitting one game above .500. One more win for them, and they tie our record.
Sorry guys, but I hope we go 0-7 and that should do it for Mchale and Sampson and whoever it might be.
I think we're going to lose a few more games before finding a way to get back on track but I'd HATE HATE HATE losing to the Knicks.
