Don't know much about UCF but I saw Bortles against South Carolina, wasn't too impressed. I'm sure it's their offense scheme but most completions were under 5 yards, a ton of screens, and catch and run type plays. Threw a couple of pics and had a couple of fumbles. From my limited eye test, didn't look like a #1 pick.

Bortles is to this draft what Blaine Gabbert was to his. A manufactured top pick by Mel Kiper.

So you think because he played so well against Duke, a team that got thrashed by Florida St., that is going to catapult him to #1 pick status, which he was not considered before?

As I said earlier if he did get picked it would be because of his games against Alabama and the SEC ... not because of this meaningless bowl game. The Combine will affect JFF's stock (good or bad) more than that game did. That tweet was just made up media static.

Watching Clowney today... thus far, pretty uneventful. They either run to the opposite side on running plays, or double/triple team him on pass plays (surprised he could even get 3 sacks this year with that sort of game-planning/attention).

If this were the NFL, they'd probably try moving him around the line prior to the snap... or over-load the side away from him with LB's/DB's to dare them to go one-on-one.

I'll take Bortles, or Manziel over Teddy.

I think the hiring of OB solidifies that we are taking a QB. It's just going to be a battle between Bortles, Manziel, and Bridgewater.

When did I ever say that? You're the one that brought up that he did it against Duke...Im saying it doesnt matter who it was against, he's always played big in big games.

The idea of Watt and Clowney rushing the passer on third down from a 4-3 makes me think happy thoughts.

I think Bill O'Brien and Teddy Bridgewater are a perfect fit.

OB's offense is ever-evolving in order to expose weaknesses in opposing defense, and it relies on a quarterback (Brady) who possesses the football IQ to continuously make adjustments.

One of Bridgewater's greatest strengths is his ability to understand defenses and make changes at the line of scrimmage. If any quarterback has the mental strength to keep up with OB's adjustments, it's certainly Bridgewater.

Which he shredded by going 35/45 for 446 and 4 TDs against when he could have easily played down to the competition.

Ya you trollin Teddy hard bro. Some much for your supposed "inside info" being legit.
