The league is extremely weak in SGs and Cs.

Forget the positions. We don't have the best guard in the league, and we're not even remotely close to having the best forwards in the league. Dwight is the closest we have to having an elite player for his position (right now the best back to the basket big with no M. Gasol and B. Lopez).

Harden isn't even top 10 in PER for perimeter players.

 

I'll take Harden on my team any day of the week.

 

the fact that harden can score on the easiest shots in the game is a GOOD thing. That means you're an efficient player. would you rather have a player that can only score on difficult contested jumpers like jr smith?

This team has "Perennial playoff team, but not contender" written all over it. Harden can't do it in the clutch.

 

I don't know if it's the best time. On paper Les-Morey-McHale-team seems to a good match but in reality everyone got their own issues. They are not on the same paper at least not yet.
