Playing consistent PnR would give this team more structure and help them get out of slumps faster. Smith is good, but he's either injured or doesn't get minutes. The talent and offense on this team are mismanaged. McHale & the coaching staff are a huge liability whether people want to admit it or not.

Seems like these past few games, officials really hate Jeremy. He was getting a lot of calls when the season started. Now, not so much, even when he was bleeding.

If Dwight is posted up and has his man sealed there is no reason for anyone to then penetrate. The point of him posting up is to get the ball, a good play would be for him to get the ball and then for Lin to make his cut to get his man away from Dwight OR to just get a easy shot himself.

Howard moves VERY well off the ball, he could score 15+ points just off garbage buckets and PnRs as seen in his Orlando days. The problem is just like every other big man, he doesn't get fed and gets discouraged and likely starts to feel like he's not part of the offense.

If Dwight is successful at posting up then that is infinitely better than Harden or Lin penetrating. They did not even give DWIGHT a chance to establish himself in this game on offense.

The problem is Howard is not going to demand for the ball, I think maybe he's just too nice or perhaps he doesn't want to step on any toes still being new here and all...it's a benefit too...but it's a problem.

Any ways it is on everyone.

*Dwight could ask for it more.
*The Guards and Parsons can make it a priority to feed Dwight.
*The coach can get on his players when they get into chuck it up and ignore Dwight mode.

I meant he scored on 7 of the 10 he took.
    Shots not points.

I saw that. Bad call. And Cousins had a lot of moving pics on Lin not called.

Harden had a great game for fantasy. Average game in real life... crap defense and anti-clutch.

Someone needs to call his ass out for bricking wide open three point shots and missing 4 out of 6 free throws. If anyone should be calling out players, it should be Dwight. They ignored him for most of the game and no one would pass him the ball when he was posting up, even Parsons.

Normally the big man would establish post position and raise his hand for the ball. i didn't see Howard do this too many times in the 4th. Plus, I don't think he gets deep enough which affects his move to the basket and allows the perimeter defenders to collapse easier.

Crap defense can apply to almost everyone on this roster.

It's really not one players fault, they need to play in a better system.

Just give the damn ball to Howard. He should be closing games, not Harden.

Bad d example. On the Thomas drive to the baket in the 4th when Clyde said Lin should have stopped his penetration, there were two other Rox in the paint. There was Harden's man that was unguarded in the left corner because Harden was on the other side of the court. So Lin had to hedge the pass to the corner and the two Rox in the paint did not come over in time. All it takes is one blown assignment and the defense breaks down because of confusion. i counted at least 4 blowbys on Harden when he tries to reach from behind after his man has gone by him.

Lin is Knick kryptonite. We'll win as long as Harden and McHale don't get in the way.

If this team is still trying to "find it's identity", when exactly are they going to start turning the corner, I mean, they only added Dwight. What's the standard this team is setting for itself?

Now look at the Suns, new coach, brand new roster from top to bottom, no superstars, playing quite well as a team.

If there's one thing about excuses, its that there's an unlimited amount of them, and none of them will help you win the game, it'll just make you feel better in the short term.

We need more talent, meh, how about we use the talent we have more effectively. No one should complain that we needed more talent against the Sacramento Kings of all teams, who really on the likes of Thornton and Fredette off the bench.
