    Just ribbing its humble origins.

From looking at the website (before your reply), I was guessing it'd be more like Fate/Zero in terms of production and seriousness.

Ha, if ya'll want good recommendations for this season I'm your guy. My top 5 in detail.

    1. Ace of the diamond- been the highlight to this fabulous season. Never thought I'd love baseball had this not come into my life. Main character can annoy you, but it's a real personality athletes can have when you're so full of energy for a sport you truly love. Not to mention episode 13 actually made me tear up in a BASEBALL ANIME.
    2. Yowamushi Pedal - Whoever thought an anime about cycling was a good idea... They're geniuses!! Especially with this one, they really pulled it off. I'm not going to go into full detail, you'll get some ideas from what I've said based on what I've said in #1 and 3. Just watch it and you won't be disappointed.... Seriously....
    3. Hajime no ippo - fabulously done each and every episode. Never a dull moment, great pacing. plus, it's exaggerated boxing.
T4 - Nagi no asukara - Most beautiful visually. Seriously, I can't even begin to explain why it looks so masterful. Story is great too imo, has my taste, love, drama, with a pinch of comedy tossed in now and then.
T4 - Golden Time - Might get some flame for this putting it above kuroko, kill la kill, log horizon etc., but bear with me. It's a great romantic comedy and realistic character personalities. It can become an all out verbal brawl between viewers because of how the characters are. Sure you have you're typical person x person love interest, but it's either a you love one, hate the other from what I've read other people saying.

Rest of my ranking, they should be self explanatory. I'll put some detail if I feel I need to.

    6. Kuroko no Basuke
    7. Log Horizon
    8. Kill La Kill
    9. Outbreak Company
    10. Little busters
    11. Strike the blood
    12. Samurai flamenco - what started as amazing, could've been #6 honestly, but it really threw me off after episode 7 and killed me after episode 10 by becoming the power Rangers. Going to stick with it because I want to see how they did themselves out of this disaster.

    Diamond in the rough
    Meganenbu!
Need to watch the rest for better judgment.

I don't think I meant the "fanservice" if that is what you mean

In High of the Dead, I meant it was a decent zombie apocalypse series, but yes there is a whole lot of fanservice, and it does turn into a little bit of a harem style later, though I think the fat kid should get some love too.

I don't recall a ton of fanservice in Rosario, but it is also a bit of harem style. And I do consider the story to be fairly light-hearted.

I'm now caught up on Kill La Kill. It's sad because to me it was just starting to get interesting. It's not one of my favorites, but it's now interesting enough that I'll follow it.

Ippo was awesome this week. Hunter x Hunter, the episodes are too damn short! LOL.

Over on Netflix, I just started watching Fairy Tail and I like it.

Mikus, we both think very alike except for the part about rosario. Season 2 was 90% fanservice 10% story. Left me highly disappointed and they stop at that spot without a season 3?!?!

On another note nagi no asukara will have a time skip when it reairs in January.

Sorry for the big pic, but this is a must see without a spoiler. So excited for the second half.

I had to remind myself Rosario Season 2. You're right, that's when most of the fanservice started, and not much plot, which is why I kinda didn't remember it.

As for Attack on Titan, that's so last season!!! We already talked through it. I think it's epic and awesome but it hasn't ended, just got too close to the manga.

AAAAH! That's an interesting picture. I hadn't seen it. Major spoiler in the picture though...
seeing as how a character who was presumed dead at the end of the last episode is standing in it ;)

But like I said I refused to believe he was dead before anyway!! And it seems that neither Hikari or Kaname have aged at all so the time jump only affected those not in "hibernation" under the sea - also no Manaka in the picture which worries me.

For some reason that show has me thoroughly invested though - can't wait for the next part of the season. Sayu and Miuna are adorable still :)

Also about attack on titan, I bought the manga and I am reading through it now. Just started... but it's hard to read because the drawings are so bad! I haven't read a manga where the pages feel more like sketches than anything else. I don't know if that's cause typically I read romcom type stuff so it's stylistic or because this mangaka is a rookie and hopefully improves over time.

On Golden Time... I seriously struggle with it, because I want him with Linda and I still can't stand Kaga. At times I feel a bit sorry for her and I feel a bit peeved at Linda for not staying by Banri's side when he lost his memory... but overall it makes it hard for me to watch. I am a couple of episodes behind on it now. I may try to watch it tonight before the basketball game. We shall see.

Can't seem to find a decent copy of Attack on Titan episode. Either no sound or no subtitles. How are you guy watching the show? Torrentz take too long.

Crunchyroll man! The answer to most of your anime needs. You can go free and take the commercials or pay the nominal sub. I think it's $8.99 like Netflix. I have both Crunchyroll and Netflix and with occasional on-demand from Vudu, it's all the content I can possibly watch. I only watch regular TV for sports these days, like the Rockets!

Pretty much all of the shows that we are talking about in this thread are available on Crunchyroll. All the shows that RocketsRed14 mentioned in his post are on Crunchyroll right now. Crunchyroll pretty much simulcasts from Japan, so you stay current with the shows as they air over there. Therefore most of what we are following is the current season of shows, hence my comment about Attack on Titan being "so last season".

I never believed it either. Chisaki not hibernating kind of worries me too. I bet she's dating tsumugu now:mad:
I guess kaname can date sayu now. I think the second half is hikari trying to get manaka back from the sea God. She had that hard crash, but I don't believe she's dead either, just forever sleeping as the sea God's bride. Miuna probably still loves hikari, but would it be weird for them to date if hikari is her step-uncle?
They really did good on this show. Really close to being my 3rd favorite. I'm going to sleep for the next nine days for the next episode. My ena is pretty thick anyways. (in before that's what she said/if you think that's thick) :p

Also not to mention that they're beginning to expand by nabbing the classic rurouni kenshin. Only a matter of time until they get yu yu hakusho as well.

On a side note Sword Art online extra season ep 1 out now! On a bigger SAO related note, Season 2 confirmed.

I minorly spoiled myself on the next Sword Art arcs from the manga, and they just don't seem as interesting to me. I already didn't like the 2nd game as much as the first. The first SAO arc was by far the best.

I still believe they'll turn the corner and head in the right direction, but yes, SAO was way better than ALO

I actually got rid of hulu plus and picked up dramafever instead... so I watch my anime on crunchyroll or netflix and my korean dramas on drama fever or netflix. Hulu is the only one with commercials in the middle of the episodes for subscription so I'm writing them off! If the anime isn't on those two I watch it on animehere.com

    RR14
Chisaki was always a bit annoying imho. I don't know why but I never liked her...so I'm okay with her and tsumugu :) I'd rather Kaname end up with Sayu anywho... and I think Miuna and Hikari would be weird too, I think her crush was more a "big brother" want, as opposed to an "I like him" want.

I'm moving SAO up my queue list since it seems to be a good match for my tastes. I haven't seen a list of the next season stuff yet... when do those start being promoted. Is the current season fall or winter.. it's fall right?

It's winter now. New shows like nisekoi should be releasing by the 9th . hopefully sooner. Newest winter show released on CR right now is Sword Art Online: Extra Edition. From MAL it says it's only one episode but it was 2h long. Guess you can call it a recap ova film.

Might be a little hard to see.

Has anyone watched Code Geass? Started watching it yesterday and it's really good.

It's nice to know that there's a second season to Golden Time and Log Horizon. Strike the Blood is ok, where is Ippo on that fall leftover calendar? Ace of Diamond? :(

Looking through the list, this Springs Anime line up looks pretty weak =/ I thought this/last fall was pretty amazing. Daaamn, a new JoJo is coming out soon. For some reason the art style reminds me of Hokuto no Ken.
