He was single at the time (divorced with his old wife, on a break with gabrielle union), and from the article GU already knew about it when she accepted the proposal. And also from the article Wade plans to have a role in his new son's life.

LOL I'm not the biggest Dwade fan in the world, but that's not exactly scumbag material to me. As long as he's there for his kids and provides financial support I don't see why that makes him a hypocrite talking about how much he loves his kids.

Ask the kid in about 16 to 20 years when he understands he was the product of a fling his father had with a friend. Parenting starts even before the child is born. Even if Wade was to be a good father after that, he can never give that child back the chance to grow up with both parents. He already made his first parenting mistake with him and its a big one.

I also like how him, or his people, mention the baby momma and wade have been friends for years to make it look better. I think it's safe to say she's more of a groupie he's partied with for years.

 

Thank you, that's my first point. A good father manages to stay in one relationship because he chooses a woman worth staying with the rest of his life (sort of unexpected tragedies as death, etc. causing early separation of course) that's the foundation of a family.

A good father not only takes cares of his kids but does his 100% to provide a stable and loving family environment for them.

 

Why does this news make him a scumbag? He didn't cheat on union they were split up. He fathered a child with a woman he has had a relationship with for years. I have no doubt that the child will be exceptionally taken care of. Union knew of the child before they got back together. What's the big deal?

 

Do you know he is not a great father? Maybe he is an outstanding father.
