Wrong, clown. Never said a thing about a person boycotting Sarandon movies. Said it was crap for Robbins and Sarandon to have an event cancelled because of their beliefs. Said it was crap for Clear Channel to boycott the DC's. Plus, Sarandon, DC's and M. Moore criticizing a POLITICIAN, which every single person who pays attention to politics does (some against one side, the others against the others) is just a wee bit different than openly expressing bigotry toward an entire group of people. I wouldn't blame Republicans for deciding they didn't want to go see the Dixie Chicks and I wouldn't blame gays for boycotting Jones, but then no one here called for a boycott. If you can't see the miles of difference here (and I understand you can't), I can't help you.

And of course, johnheath has displayed his simple mind "most visibly," like he does about three times an hour around here.

p.s. HP: If this conversation was going on in public, I wouldn't shy away for a minute. I just wouldn't bring it up.

The event was cancelled by a private organization, which is just an example of FREE SPEECH.

You claimed that when a private organization protested a private citizen's opinion, that the "spirit" of the 1st amendment was being violated.

Now, when Todd Jones exercises his right to sound stupid, I am saying that people like you won't condemn homosexuals for ignoring products endorsed by Todd Jones.

Go ahead and show me that I am wrong. If you can't, you are a damn hypocrite.

I am weak and so I can't help myself. I should know better. I don't know why I respond to people who say nothing but 'NUH UNH!!!' but I do.

heath, I have already shown you that you are wrong as have others. As usual you ignore what you don't want to hear and just keep screaming the same simple arguments.

    Here it is again:

I have never said anyone didn't have a right to say anything.

I have never said conservatives were wrong if they want to skip a Susan Sarandon movie or burn any record they want. And I have never condemned them for it. I have said they were stupid, but that's an entirely different thing.

I have criticized the Baseball Hall of Fame for allowing an ideologue to cancel a charity event because he didn't like the ideology of scheduled speakers.

I have criticized Clear Channel for boycotting a group for making a statement that doesn't even rise to the level of unpatriotic. I am pretty confident they never banned Ted Nugent for his constant racist statements, but they ban a group for saying they're ashamed of the president.

There is an enormous difference, as I have said so many times, between being ashamed of a president (which I'm sure you openly expressed during the Lewinsky thing) or opposing a war even while there are troops in the field (which you probably did during Kosovo and which the biggest Republican loudmouths definitely did during Kosovo) than making bigoted statements towards a group of people.

Even so, I did not call for Jones to be fired or reprimanded in any way and I didn't even call for a boycott. Would I condemn one? Of course not. I haven't "condemned" the other ones, except where they were orchestrated by a giant corporation or by an ex-Reagan official who has since admitted he was wrong.

This is one of your bigger reaches and that is saying something. You have a lot of damn nerve to call me a hypocrite, when you worship at the altar of hypocrites greater than even yourself. Get bent.

    there's a guy I could shower with ... ... yeah ... anyway,
I never could get one of those commercial undressments.
Now I'm just getting calls from the GOP... something about
speaking at a fundraiser. But I told them I don't shop
at the Gop. ... Damn sissy pastel colors."
