My breakdown. Morey trades Lin and Asik for picks and expirings but Rockets won't be major players for any of the following (Tier A) Lebron, Wade, Bosh, Aldridge, Love, Hibbert, M Gasol. I think if Jones continues to develop and Howard stays on course. I see no point. I think everyone but Love stays on their current team. Lebron could be a dark horse to the Knicks if they get rid of Melo. but I think Morey focuses on Tier B vets who will settle for 1-2 year deals would be my guess. Either an above average PG or above average bench guys. Duncan, Ginobli, Parker all retire. Love leaves Minnesota for either LA team. Clippers let Jordan walk. San Antonio, Dallas have money too spend. Wes Matthews, Brook Lopez, David West are intriguing. Don't want Rondo at PG. I'd rather swing a deal for Mike Conley or ahem Durant (moving Harden to PG)
do people really think that Durant is a possibility? there is now way, no how that OKC is trading Durant. not for anyone. as soon as this season ends, they are going to offer the absolute maximum extension possible, which KD will almost certainly sign, especially if they win it all this year.
