They recreated the show called hunter x hunter 2011. Currently in the chimera ant arc. It's much improved.
I watched 3 episodes of Kill La Kill last night and it's a little weird...I'll continue to watch a few more and see if I start to like it more. I'll throw out a couple more that I hadn't seen mentioned here: High School of the Dead - decent zombie apocalypse series Rosario x Vampire - kind of a light-hearted and cute monster anime I watched both on Netflix earlier this year, not sure if they are still available.
I liked High School of the Dead... though I could have lived with less fanservice boobs bouncing Rosario Vampire is on my list. Kill La Kill seemed to be a very specific genre that I didn't really get into. The battle stuff is fine in things like Fairy Tail and One Piece, but Kill La Kill didn't give me enough story to make me care. I will admit I only made it 2 episodes in though.
Now is the time to catch up to any series you're/I'm behind on. New episodes delayed until Jan 6th at the earliest. Pissed off ace of the diamond is delayed until the 12th. Bright side? Hajime no ippo vs sawamura tomorrow.
Looks like Fairy Tail's anime is returning in April of 2014. Not sure if even by then the manga will have built up enough cushion to avoid a filler arc for a long while. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-12-28/fairy-tail-anime-restarts-in-april
You sure it's not an April fools joke? Just kidding, heard about that too. Going to watch what they have on Netflix before this airs.
Huh? It's being made by ufotable, the studio which produced Kara no Kyoukai and Fate Zero. It's one of the very best studios, while DEEN, the group who made the first FSN....is not. Given what a terrible anime the first Fate/Stay Night was, ufotable will be able to do a much better job on one of my favorite stories ever.
Ikr! They should've just let tsumugu drown... I know he didn't do anything, but his presence alone is ruining hikari x manaka and chisaki x kaname. Need new episodes immediately. Found this pretty awesome on the crunchyroll forum, scroll down to the picture "life of a gentleman". http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-821255/nagi-no-asukara-discussions?pg=29 This is why tsumugu should just die.... Man I'm still angry at that...
No way Kaname is dead! I refuse to believe that... At the very least his future should be with the fiery little Sayu Tsumugu doesn't seem to have a part in most of it so far... But he is the original catalyst... His interaction with the group is what started the change. I don't dislike him, but I don't want any of the main characters to die... Even if they aren't a big part of the current action.
Currently watching Beyond the Boundary (Kyoukai no Kanata?) on Crunchyroll with an ipad Not exactly the most cleverly written snow but the visuals are stunning and the characters aren't too bad. Pretty good watch for anyone waiting for KLK to resume
I haven't seen either you mentioned but I do like log horizon it's one of the few I'm keeping up with
