Royce White says he's ready to play for NBA team. Anxiety was blown out of proportion.

It's my fault for not being clear enough.

While I'm sure many people suffer from life-crippling anxiety disorder, I'm convinced that Royce is just a lazy scrub who didn't want to play basketball in the first place and realized that he could leverage the fact that he gets nervous on planes for publicity.

As another poster said (apologies to that poster for not going back and looking up the name), he's a con artist and a scumbag.

I love it. I wonder how fat he is now. It wouldn't surprise me if he was over 300 lbs being away from basketball so long. He's never shown any willingness to work on his game or even stay in shape on his own time.

What a pathetic scam artist and a joke.

The guy is a con man, 100% a fraud, none of his mental health issues would stop him from playing in the NBA, he is the guy that chose to do that.

And not even meeting with a REAL professional - and staying with a GP doctor, why? Probably because a real qualified professional would tell the teams he was full of ****.....which he is.

Let this loser go live under a bridge where he belongs.

GOOD RIDDANCE - now go earn your living.

Anyone think that maybe Royce White had a really overbearing and obnoxious humanities professor in college? And that it somehow rubbed off on him?

    Projecting personal issues?

White was a pampered college athlete with mental and ethical problems. The only thing that rubbed off on him is the hero worship athletes receive.

I know people with pretty severe anxiety disorders but they still work their ass off and don't complain. No sympathy. Not one single drop.

Just sayin'. He seems way too well-versed in the culture of victimhood to have come up with it all on his own...

Pot erodes the brain - it has long term negative side effects - clearly Royce is getting started early.

Welcome to the real world Royce White. Would love to see how an employer would react to his "mental" problems when he becomes an every day average joe working 40 hours a week.

"Sorry boss I can't come in to work today because I don't think I'm being treated like a human being should be. #BeWell"

Here is how he would react - just not even bother hiring him, because once you have that person in your office, it would be damned near impossible to get rid of them due to them hiding behind a condition or assumed condition.

It boggles my mind that some people expect companies to bend over backwards - most of them would not even bother to take the risk in the first place, just easier that way in the end.
