The quest to trade for Millsap just got murkier. Dude beasted tonight. It will be even harder to pry him from Danny Ferry's cold, pasty hands at this point. Better hope he comes back down to Earth the next few games. They really went small tonight and the Bobcats didn't make them pay. I don't think this will be sustainable.
I don't think the Rockets need a PF right now since TJones is playing well and fit in perfectly. What they need is a big dude coming off the bench and Asik is PERFECT!! Ryan Anderson may actually be perfect...but Pelicans don't want Asik.
Thaddeus Young with 2 straight 30 and 10 games. He is also on fire from 3 point land. Last 3 games 11-14 from behind the arc.
Milsap is very good. He is a clear upgrade over Jones, and he is worth around the same if not more than just Asik. I suggest you watch him play more.
Millsap played great, but the Bobcats scored near 120 after 1OT and Jefferson put up 24/23, lol. I think we all know that Horford's complaining about playing center will only increase now (he did an article for slam saying it, he even mde a youtube video saying it, lol), but as far as Ferry is concerned, his season is in a position where he's fine waiting.
So what's the holdup? Is there a market for his contract? Rox need Ryan Anderson a lot more than a banger like Millsap, especially with Dwight showing a strong post game. Plus, Atl gains nothing in the Mil for Asik swap.
Millsap can shoot just fine from 3pt land and I think Horford would demand a trade if he has to play PF again.
