Yea, I think this is probably the case. Though I would omit Garcia at this point =\

The bench may need Lin but the Rockets need him more, 3 wins in a row.

The defense does slack off on Bev, there isn't much reason to pay much attention to him. He doesn't push the ball, he doesn't get many assist and isn't much of a scoring threat. I love Bev on the Rockets, but he needs to come off of the bench.

i think Jeremy can fill up that role.

Let Aaron and Bev be PG.

This theory that Lin is overrated is crazy. In some Lin fans eyes he is the second coming of MJ...Lin is always going to have his game compared to the Linsanity run.

Lin is a good point guard, and it says something about his character to be able to turn it up in the last quarter.

Funny how he infers that the free throw shooting was the only thing keeping us in the game. Everyone points to the free throw number...well maybe you just fouled us more or most of your fouls were legit shooting fouls.

You don't get free throws every time Dwight gets called for an offensive foul.

This team shoots 3s and attacks the paint, we have a big man who others teams purposely try to put him on the free throw line instead of allowing a dunk. Naturally this team gets more free throws than other teams.

It is an easy out, a writer who refuses to accept Houston is better than New Orleans.

It's funny to see how other teams complaining how Houston is getting way too many free throws lol. Did they not know Howard and Harden ALONE are like the top 5 in free throw attempts in the league? So what are they complaining....it's crazy.

t jones c-2-c with the 'and 1', was the bomb.

That was the turning pt at 4:25 in 4th q

Then Harden and Lin 3 ptrs.

The first 5-6 minutes of the game, we run half our offense through Dwight, Harden is basically on the court as a bailout guy. Heck Bev probably gets more offense than Lin in that stretch since it's basically about moving off ball and catch and shoot for the pg slot. The perimeter sees more of the ball as the quarter goes on, if you think that Lin is better as basically a catch and shoot and d guy, and Bev is better trying to push the offense, i have no idea why but all power to you.

WOW. I can't believe you posted that. Talk about small sample size! OffRtg and DefRtg don't mean much with < 100 possessions.

Those 3 man combos played 8 or less minutes together. Try sorting your list by minutes played and checking the NetRtg. That's a bit more meaningful, but probably still < 100 possessions.

    TJones the past three games:

17 points, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks against New Orleans
20 points, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks against Memphis
21 points, 14 rebounds, 3 blocks against San Antonio

He is going to be a legit starter in the league. Hopefully as he develops he can develop a post move or two.

Totally agree with you. Please, stop trading players after every game that was not to your liking. It simply does not work that way. Garcia is a very good player as is Casspi. Their major set back lately has been the task to play without a center, because of the Asik problem. The game is, therefore, not flowing the way that they can shine. I'm confident that Morey will fix that and they return to be the express train they were in the beginning of the season.

Lin is better at catch and shoot 3pt than Bev. He has the higher %. Overall, Lin is better at everything than Bev. Except defense which is debatable.

The thing I like about this team is that I think the team has 4 guys
that can win a game by themself if they happen to go into bezerker mode.

Absolutely! This is the one and only big problem for the Rockets right now. Actually the team plays fantastic BB considering this lack of power under the rim (the backup center) when Dwight sits. When that gets fixed, the team will be a true contender. You can quote me when the time comes.

At this point its clear that Lin is head and shoulders above Bev in every meaningful category. I've always said Bev is the worst starting pg in the league and only McFail would be dumb enough to start him. Bev is worthless on offense and his magical defense has been exposed so many times this year. Anyone with any basketball sense can see this.

With the emergence of Tjones, I'd say right now anyone on our starting 5 can carry the team.

We play better under stress it seems.

We did well against top team except Pacer.

While scrub teams got career high against us.

we manage to win on fourth because that's when the pressure pilling up

Who is "we"? It's a call for McHale and he as a former top player knows what a shooting slump is an how to deal with it. Try to understand that you don't trade a player every time he misses a 3-pointer.

He probably was too focused to shut down another all star pg for 3 qtrs in J Holiday after shutting down the last two all stars in Parker and Conley to prove to you guys that he can play defense even against the best pgs. Then he looked up the board and realized it was 4 qtr and the game too close, so then he turned clutch on offense to try to win the game, LOL. Blame it on CF haters here often saying his defense is so weak.
