Mavs have no inside presence to stop the Blazers. How many put backs or extra shots have the blazers gotten lately?dallas has no answer for this they simply lack talent in the aspect of the game. 'sheed is unstopable down low he needs to stay inside rather than jack 3's even though thats whats got the job done today.
if thats a big IF the blazers play smart they should have no problem winning these last two games. I was pretty worried about todays game they played stupid for most of the game,. They have to keep their cool and not draw T's they cant afford to give up free points to the mavs. Pippen looked great tonight bad news for the mavs, w/o pip the series would be over tonight. This is going 7 the mavs will not win in Portland to much confidence among the blazers s and homecourt. Game 7 willl be interesting but dallas is simply not "tough enough" to bang with the blazers for 48 minutes.

"We're just hooping it up, nothing else,'' said Wallace, who scored 18. "Y'all wrote us off. We're the only cats that believe. We're going to keep doing what we're doing.''

    Keep hooping 'sheed

Hopefully, Dirk doesn't go out with a strained back, because he is CARRYING the Mavs...

I dont like the Blazers but I would love to see them beat Mark Cuban and the Mavs.

Ben Collins must be pissing on himself.

    rocketfan83-

As far as I'm concerned, there is no need for you to post that BS i posted earlier. This was without a doubt the ballsiest prediction I've ever seen on here that almost happened. I never thought it would go 6 games, much less 7.

Thats cool I was a little surprised myself, to me logically it made sense but the fact that the Blazers showed so much heart was surprising. That is the sole reason why they were on the brink of making NBA history this afternoon. But again somethings never change the Blazers showed it again by their lack of execution down the stretch. I took a gamble the Blazers could play like they did in game 4, they did for 2 whole games and 3/4 of game 7 they fell just a little short. If you change your mind thats cool I am a man of my word Ill have it up in no time. Though the Gods thing might be pushing it.

All I can say after watching all 7 games of this series is its a shame that NBA fans never saw Sabonis in his prime. I have never been impressed by an athlete who had so little left physically. One heck of a player.

    Hoop-T how do you feel?

I agree. Sabonis is just amazing. His tapping the the rebounds to teamates who can jump , to his ability to intimidate shots. Sabonis is just awesome. I love his game. His passes are amazing, I do wish I could have seen him in his prime. Man, that guy must of been a hell of a player.

Imagine Shaq strength level player but possesses the shooting range up to three pts line, and a high percentage FT shooting to complement a nice lil post game he had ( jump hook, some up and under ) ;)

He's not a brute player to begin with ( aka using his size advantage to illegally buldoze defensive players out of their position, rather using his skills to overcome the defense thrown at him ), but if he could joined the league at his best yrs ( right after being drafted by Portland, who still had Drexler, Kersey, Porter, Duckworth ), let's just say that Portland would already collected atleast two NBA thropy by now ;)

Well, I don't particularly care much either way. I actually wanted Dallas to lose, truth be told, so I am kinda irritated. I don't like Portland, but I do love it when records are set, and Portland had a chance to make history. However, I guess I am a bit of a softy, so don't worry about it.

Is Sabonis gonna play next year? It's really sad that he plays for the current Portland team. He deserves to play on a contender, or at least on a team with good attitude.

That no-look-over-the-head bullet to the baseline cutter pass was just sick. If only Francis had 10% of his court-awareness. . . :(

Being wrong sucks, but just like every other previous year I'll look to next year. At this point, as long as the Lakers don't win, I'll be satisfied
