Doubt it...He just didn't want to cause an uproar that Howard wasn't playing well, and DMO was out there doing work. After all, Howard did have 5 fouls, and Z-Bo was going to work on him. Putting him back in would'vr messed up the flow of the comeback.

 

Seriously that's one of the biggest differences between last year and this year. We actually win in back to back now. 7-1 record on the 2nd night of back to backs.

He's a second season PG who just has a strange style about him. He's doing less bone-headed stuff now than last season. It's not going to disappear overnight. But as his career goes on, he'll play less that way until it becomes rare when he does. As long as a coach believes in him and knows he can show ineptness and then brilliance at different times in the same game.

 

I would focus more on Portland. We got two home games and zero away games with them left. Gotta overtake them for the three seed. That should be our goal realistically. Spurs and OKC are too consistent to pass up for this young a squad.

About time we won a game "ugly".

This type of comeback win when we really didn't play well at all is EXACTLY what the doctor ordered. Especially coming off a back to back emotional win last night.

In many respects, this was my favorite win of the season. Now...lets go on a big winning streak dammit!

 

I remember when Kevin Martin was our main scoring option, and when whistles were swallowed, everyone wanted him out of town. I think there's more to Harden's game than just FT's, but it is definitely one of the biggest components.

Harden had too little good shooting night so far.

The way each of those two players are fouled / draw fouls is like night and day.

This was obviously a ridiculous amount of FTs, but no, there's nothing wrong with drawing a foul when you're defender is out of position and off balance.

The way Harden generally draws fouls is much more respectful IMO then the Reggie Miller pump fake jump into or the Kobe Bryant swing up into a players arm and shoot technique.
