    Interesting. Glad the rockets performed well in front of a large audience. Glad the Houston ratings were good too, force the providers to do something to get CSN.

    Awesome, I felt like our game was better than LAC v GSW anyway. That Chandler Parsons story made it feel like Christmas. It also made SA the bad guys and people love when the good guy wins. Thanks CP.

    The whole Chandler Parson thing and the uniform that the Rockets wear is very special to me. It looks very appealing. And it helps that the other games suck. It helps the Rockets play well.

    The Rockets right now have the benefit of pulling in audience from multiple markets.

    LA fans are curious to see how Dwight is working out.
    OKC and general basketball fans are curious to see how Harden is working out.
    NY, SF, international audiences and the general public are curious to see how Lin is working out.

    We also shouldn't forget that the Christmas games in general were kind of underwhelming (weak to mediocre teams in Chicago, LA and NY in the Knicks, Nets, Lakers and Bulls), and that the 2 leading conference teams in Portland and Indiana weren't even playing.

    Toss in that the Rockets are still one of the more exciting young teams and it makes for a very broad-based interest level in the Christmas game.

    Not too surprised at all.
