I think Batum is more chance of getting a nod than Parsons?

It'd be pretty close between the 2 of them as to who is number 2 SF in the west.

Parsons to me in the west is probly the second best sf if you want to go by numbers and play making. But the chances of him beating iggy is slim. Maybe parsons could be a reserve. It would be nice to have parsons, Lin and harden in the Allstar game

Iggy? Why is that? Our record is better and Parsons stats are better. Parsons biggest competition are the PFs.

Crazy to me that Parson's playoff averages were eerily similar to one named Paul George.

Funny thing is, they are actually pretty similar in regards to their offensive game.

If Chandlers D was on par with his rookie season right now, id say he would be a darkhorse for an allstar nod.

He has improved this year as he has added a little step back jumper and also learned to start his attack as he is getting the ball.

1% chance. A lot of players will need to get injured for it to happen. Plural.

you realize that if he averages 20 ppg next year, either the rockets will have to score at least 3 more ppg or someone else has to score less.

He should be in the ASG but only coaches can vote him in

Parsons should make it, clearly the heart and soul of this team. If rockets owned the top 2 or even maybe top 3 record in the west, that would give Parsons a much better shot at getting picked by coaches.

If I remember correctly, the reserves are picked by coaches, but if someone is injured, David Stein or the next NBA commissioner will pick who to add.

    1. The all-star game will be held in New Orleans. Anthony Davis also has a good season, averaging 19 points, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks, 1.6 steals, 1.5 assists, 27 PER (third behind Lebron and Durant?). If he remains on this list, he will have the biggest chance of being picked.

    2. Will coaches prefer 3 all-stars from Rockets and 0 all-stars from Spurs to 2 all-stars from Rockets and 1 all-star from Spurs? Pop might be the only one who likes to see that. As long as Spurs remains one of the top-3 teams in the west, Parker will have a bigger chance than Parsons.

    3. Phoenix Suns is currently 1.5 games behind Rockets, and most experts predicted them to fight for the lottery pick before the season started. Again, if we already have two representatives in the all-star game, Bledsoe or Dragic will have a bigger chance than Parsons.

I don't think coaches will vote in someone so far down the voting.

I can't say Parsons deserves to be in, but he's getting closer.

Hopefully his game will be more recognized next year, together with his paycheck.

Parsons is improving every year and every game seeminglyl. He's progressed really nicely for the Rockets.

Players pulling out of the NBA All-star game doesn't happen a lot. Should happen this year with Kobe but it isn't a common thing like the Pro Bowl in the NFL.

Parsons should wait until next season.

It will be Mchale (best record at break)
    Lin
    Harden
    Parsons
    Love
    Howard

6 rockets total for the record!!!!

Even tim duncan deserves ( and probably get the nod) more the all star game than parssons. No chance and probably not worthy yet either. There are better more impactfull players waiting.

It's a popularity contest and Parsons isn't popular enough. Everyone watches the playoffs so if he continues his good play through this years playoffs he could be on his way next year. He seems to get better and better every week.
