I don't care who starts honestly, the Rockets need both Beverly and Lin... Especially with a weak bench killing the Rockets.

I agree! whenever we say things like this, fans of lin want to jump down your throat. Not once did Lin jump and pass the ball. not once did he leave his feet and then try to make a decision. Part of me thinks that he just didn't have enough energy after Ding up Parker that's why he was under control.

Harden was great! He should have a green light when he is on. The reason we should play him with Lin is that the defense needs to respect Lin on the offensive end and that frees up Harden for better looks. It makes sense. And Harden spreads the floor for Lin to make drives or get open looks too. They both should be playing along side one another.

With Bev next to Harden, we don't get that. The defense sags off Bev and plays Harden or Dwight harder. We lose way more on the offensive end then we gain from Bev's defense.

I thought this was one of Lin’s most well rounded games as PG for the team. I loved what he did during Linsanity, but I liked what he did tonight much better. His offense was there, his facilitating was there, his decisions were solid, but most importantly he also played excellent defense. Keeping all these things balanced throughout a game is tough to do, but he did it tonight against a top tier team and top tier PG.

The officiating of Howard was terrible, it reminded me of when Yao was being hacked and didn’t get calls. The team freethrows were horrific, and the Houston bench is woeful right now. Harden logged heavy minutes again, and he seem to slump over and didn’t look good. I thought he should have gotten a good breather during the 2nd or 3rd quarters. But he was amazing as a scorer again in the 4th. The starting five did great against the Spurs starting five. The help defense was great and they seemed to click really well. Also, the ball movement was nice, and the team had 28 assts and only 10 TOs!

What a Xmas day win! Happy holidays everyone!

Starting 5 was terrific. Bench still terrible.

Felt sorry for D-MO as he was sitting on the bench all by himself as the other bench players were waiting to check into the game.

Did anyone else catch that tense moment between Harden and Howard at the end of the game on the bench. Looked like Dwight was trying to goof around and Harden just pushed him away and went to sit on the other side of the bench.

Harden is a certified Spurs killer. Great job by the starters tonight.

Great complete team win. When Harden facilitates and gets others involved instead of chucking, we are tough to beat. Merry Christmas!

Wish we could see this team play like this all the time. Patience, I know.

Can't wait til Bev and Asik come back

Love this team. Harden, Parsons, Lin (with that D) played amazing.

    Thanks Rockets!

    Merry Christmas fellas!

You mean Jeremy Lin is the black Patrick Beverley.

Oh, how we won there earlier this year with Beverley starting and Lin not even playing back in November? Sure thing!

yea. Lin's speed talent is doing magic in this match against smaller guard like Parker.

Btw, how about Lin's defense on Parker tonight? Very good.
