Very well said. They could simply live together in peace and raise families and live long happy lives.

    But they choose not to.

    speaking about startups...

    http://news.yahoo.com/israel-39-motor-fuels-strategy-leans-gas-135002835--finance.html

Israel is investing 430 million dollars in developing battery and biofuel technologies. One of the startups named co2fuel is going to turn the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide into a useful fuel gas mixture called syngas.

so the aim is almost not to relay on oil anymore and to reducse the greenhouse effect in the process.

    btw.
for the people who say boycut Israel.

please go all the way and don't use.

cell phone - it was developed in Israel by Motorola, which has its largest development center in Israel.

    USB flash drive

The Pentium MMX Chip technology was designed in Israel at Intel

    Voice mail technology

Most of the Windows NT operating system was developed by Microsoft-Israel.

for gamers: All the face recognition technology being used with Kinect was developed in Israel. Please don't use it.

An Israeli company was the first to develop and install a large-scale
solar-powered and fully functional electricity generating plant, in
    southern California's Mojave desert."

    solar hot water system

    Drip irrigation

too many invention in medicine to count, including many of the crucial parts of MRI and ct.

    just look it up.

The Middle East has had 20 Nobel laureates: 12 Israelis, four Egyptians, one Palestinian, one Iranian, one Turk and one Yemeni.

were talking about a country at the size of new jerzy, with only 8 million citizens.

All of Asia, despite being by far the largest and most populous region in the world, can claim only 49 Nobel laureates.

So someone help explain this to me, an uneducated person on the topic. I thought Israel fought over their land in the 60's. Ya know, the Yom Kippur War and all that stuff, and they came out victors. Why and how are they illegaly occupying land??? I mean...how else do countries acquire land? Has to be by force or treaty, no?

the yom kippur war was 1973, surprise attack by Arab armies in aim to annihaliting Israel. in the and of the war Israel was approaching chairo in egyept. Israel stoped after the u.s asked it to.

the land Israel won from egyept in 1967 was still belonged to her after 1973 war.

It was returned years later as part of the peace agreement.

I think Israel's claim to fame in the startup scene is Waze lately, you'd be remiss not to mention it.

---Regardless, the larger point I was trying to make is by including the Palestinian people into startups or any functioning economy, Israel stands to achieve greater tech prosperity and well, general prosperity.

Until then, I won't boycott Israeli products, but I'll take an extra inch towards finding Palestinian products and tech talent (their olive oil is really good)

let's hope for more tech cooperation and joint economic cooperation, between Israelies and Palestinians.
it will only lead for a good outcome, and will benefit all.

Either you are for "security" or "justice." That determines which dead civillians are a cause for your moral outrage and which can be ignored as collateral damage.

Also, never mention North Cyprus, Western Sahara, Tibet or Kashmir, because those occupations are totally, totally different.

The next time you read about sectarian conflict, try substituting "Alabama" and "Auburn" for the beligerant parties. Sometimes it works perfectly and makes the news less tedious to read. It also allows you to more easily appreciate the absurdity of a real estate squabble that invites the entire world a partisan stake in the outcome.
