Put in another way that might make more sense to you: if Gandalf had been recovering in The Shire from battle injuries and on his first day back on his quest he uses "a shaft of white light" to try to drive off the Nazgûl assaulting him but accidentally was off on his aim a couple of times, could you really blame him? After all, he hadn't cast a spell in weeks.

it was his same weaknesses except on steroids.

was roaming way too much defensively and as he even said, couldn't make a pass to save himself.

But he looked good physically, hope he can get some rhythm espeically given Beverleys injury..

Yes, I didn't think of that. 5/9 shooting for 20 PTs is pretty ***ty

I thought he did fine returning from his injury. I didn't expect him to drop 20pts tonight shooting 6-10. Just ignore all the fake fans looking to exploit Lin at every chance....they're just mad Lin didn't perform worst.

I agree that Lin and DH could be a formidable pair out there but right now they have absolutely no chemistry together. There were so many disconnects during this game between the two. This is something that can be solved with more playing together. Hope more playtime together during practice will help.

Lin needs to score 20+ points on TS% north of 60% including 40%+ on 3s and 80% on FTs, 6+ assists, 2 or less turnovers, and hold his opponent to less than 10 points on below 30% FG including no more than 1 three point made, and the Rockets must win even if Garcia and Cassipi combine to shoot 3-15.

This is the minimum for Lin to be considered to have had a lucky good game that isn't repeatable, and for these same people that says he had a bad game to disappear for a game.

But the same people need only a good defensive outing or a game with 4 assists or a game shooting TS% of 50% with 14 points or more from Beverley to go shower him with praise. Note I said "OR", not "AND".

Trade Lin, he scored 20 very efficiently after being out effectively for a month and held his opponent to his recent 6 game average. Trade his ass out of here. We prefer Beverley who might be able to hold Calderon to 12 and score 8 points on low efficiency and chime in with 1 assists here.

Agreed. And that ultimately falls on McHale. The only good thing about Bev's injury is that it forces McHale to give Lin a chance to get some more time in with DH.

Tonight it looked like Parsons had the best chemistry with Dwight. He made some sweet alley oops.

If anyone ever claim there is no such thing as a Lin hater just look at some of the comments after this game.

Lin scored 20 points on excellent FG%. Didn't take that many shots either.

He guarded Calderon and kept him in check with 15 points.

Yeah Lin had 5 TOs. Almost all of them came in the 1st half and the Rockets entered halftime with a lead. His TO was minimal in the 2nd half. Maybe 1 TO or zero.

Yet people attack Lin lol. They go as far as to say Bev is sorely missed and blame the loss on Lin's Defense which was much better than the defense Bev had playing against the Mavs the last game where the Rockets lost as well.

They blame 3s made by Mav's PF, SF, SG with Rockets players guarding them not named Lin on Jeremy. Because mysteriously if Bev had been playing he would have stopped the SF from making all those 3s while the game Bev actually played he got lit up by the Mavs guards.

    Too funny.

Lin did not have a "****ty" game as the haters would say. He had a OK game.

If Lin's game is "****ty", Bev's last game vs the Mavs is the worst game in the history of the NBA.

lol this entire forum is a joke. people like spiegel and lospolloshermanos use the terms "2012ers", "2013ers", and "LOFs" as equating to "Chinese" or "Asian", and subsequently attack these members or Lin for games in which he actually played well. I mean, you gotta be a racist inbred redneck to see 6/10 20points as "played poorly" while completely ignoring some of the really sht play from the other rockets fans.

Instead of being close-minded fcks and supporting a guy in beverley who shouldn't be starting on any nba squad and hence fcking their home team over, they should be open-minded to people of all races who might produce for the rockets. but as you can see from the moronic coaching and rockets fans, we're going to go nowhere.

Forgot to mention that most of the supporters of lin aren't even chinese, lol. a lot of lin fans are actually a mish-mash of people, i.e. knicks fans of all races who understand how much of a moron dolan is, people who love the underdog story, chrisitians, etc. It's just this dumbass site that caters to idiots who hate chinese and are terrified that anyone supporting lin might be "one of them." lol, what a joke.

You can't use logic with these haters. That's why I feel like I have to defend him all the time on here. I'm a long time Clutchfans reader but I rarely posted in the past. I didn't post when we acquired Lin either (b/c I'm not an LOF). It was only after we had Lin and he was a ROCKET and when I saw how so called "fans" were treating him that I had to step in. It's really sad b/c by all accounts, the guy is having a very nice season and he's received more undue criticism from so called "fans" than anyone else in the history of Houston Rockets basketball.

Then there's some people that want to mock his faith and say he's too soft while in the same breath, support that Duck Dynasty moron Phil. Once again, no logic.

It's also not a stinky tofu, Tag Heuer ad, nose-picking, Chinese drinks menu site.

You have no problem posting your **** here for us to endure.

Don't know why some of u bother with Lospolloshermanos and Spiegal. Some of u will write long posts filled with some ridiculous stats. They just reply back with some low quality drivel (often in 3 sentences or less). Just ignore them, there are better posters to engage with.

I don't think he has an ignore list. He just says that nonsense when he gets owned.

Attacking Lin when he had a decent game on offense and an ok game on defense and was much better than Bev was against the Mavs the last game, just makes people like him look foolish.

So he claims to put you on his ignore list.

Now if Lin actually played badly and Calderon dropped 30 on Lin and Jeremy was ineffective on offense then the haters would have a field day. But last nights game they got nothing to stand on when they attack Lin.

Ok he had 5 Tos in the 1st half when the Rockets led the game but that wasn't why the Rockets lost the game. It was lost in the 3rd and 4th quarter where Lin did not have any TOs or maybe just 1.

With all due respect, Tinman is a respected poster around here and you are, well, not. This is a Rockets fan site first and foremost.
