I think his ego has grown. When he was just a garbage man he looked amazing. Like a young borderline all-star...

Now he seems to be too concerned with scoring...

LOL we don't need ANY changes, we were short handed and we can't win every game. Once we get the squad fully healthy we will go on a winning streak and every one will be like "Howard, Harden MVP!, we will go to the Finals!" so just chill out

It's not about Lin's offense. Other than the TO he's had, which 2 of them were good passes just off the target, I think Lin played fine. It's his "help" defense that cannot be ignored. he left Calderon and Crowder wide open while drifting towards the basket for whatever reason. If it's by design, then they have to fix that.

you're crying over spilt milk. Lin wasn't the only reason the Rockets lost. He didn't play a great game, and he hurt the Rockets tonight more than he helped them IMO. Brooks chucked up shot when the Rockets needed quality Posessions. So did Terrance Jones. TJones couldn't stop Dirk. Lin let guys open for 3 4 times or more tonight. Garcia didn't do much at all.

Needed Asik out there for Nowitzki. At least to slow him down and make things tough for him.

Agreed. DMO with his length has guarded Dirk well in the past. That fall away jumper is tough over a 7 footer.

I think for team defense to work, you've got to have solid individual defenders who can work out various schemes. Outside of Howard, Bev, and Asik--no one else is outstanding. Harden can defend but not the elite shooters. We need more.

Morey brought the team together more for the outside shooting. Now we are seeing the problems.

Rockets lost because the Mavs constantly got mismatches. Seriously...how many possessions did they have with Lin on Dirk?

The coaching does have something to answer for. The offense is the same thing every time, every game when we come out of a timeout it ends up being a turnover first possession in or easy buckets for the next 3 trips for the other team.

They continue with a short rotation even with players out. Clearly Garcia needs less minutes. Same with Jones, kid went from not playing to getting starters minutes.

Every game the coaching staff come out with the same old stuff without changing anything up.

he did play good d in the first half, but the 3rd quarter was the game and i don't know why you want to keep 'helping' the best defensive center and multiple dpoy howard. howard doesn't need your help, lin. how can this concept not compute in a havard graduate's head. Harden and bev used to do it too but they learned. on the offense, he was back to his old self.

Howard for the last 1o games now has been playing on another planet. the world should appreciate it since he is the last of his kind.

I agree. The game was loss in the 3rd. It's not the guys, it for sure isn't Jones or Lin or Howard. Yes they all made mistakes but the 3rd quarter their coach made adjustments and how many times is the guy with the height advantage ending up burning one of our guys who is 5 or more inches shorter? Dirk had a great game, the guy was just on his game. DHo good game, Parsons OK game, both had 4 TOs, Lin too many TOs and some defensive lapses but for a guy that played 2 games this month coming off of an injury he was efficient and got to the line 10 times. Lin's offensive production only lacked crisper passing for him to have a great game so I don't won't to hear crap about him. Brooks had a strong scoring game and Casspi and Garcia again didn't do much. But the game was loss by the coach I think

Having Harden would've helped. but this team has fundamental flaws in team chemistry that the coach needs to fix. I mean the tonights strategy to containing dirk was awful. Calderon isn't a scrub, but Lin didn't shut him down like he should have. Vince Carter played well tonight.. what can I say?

Size doesn't bother Dirk. What's worked in the past was having smallerguys playing scrappy against him.

Last season he was good at it. He's very inconsistent this season due to shot selection and injury

SOB, I hate dirk. I hate his ugly f'n face and his stupid azz smirk. I also hate how he has his guard out of his ugly azz mouth all the f'n time. I hate all the bs calls he gets too. I hate the f'n Mavs and Ellis too.

I hate how after all these years they still own us:mad::mad::mad:
