nah the Pelicans are tight, they need to change the Nets' name. I like the idea of them just being called Brooklyn, or maybe they could be called Brooklyn Basketball Club... but BBC would be bad to Google lol.
Awesome, wish the old logo that is tweaked was the primary one though, but who cares All they need now is the NBA to cooperate with them to get the history back where it belongs and tank for one of those superstars to make them significant again + so I can buy a jersey of a great player
It's a good a time as any. My mom and her knitting circle are in the mix the for an eighth seed in the east this season.
They should also return calling their arena The Hive. Loved how arenas used to have a relevant name in regards to their team vs all the corporate sponsored names nowadays.
Probably would not be able to until the TWC deal runs out which, at least the TV broadcasting part, runs through 2015 IIRC. I am sure there will be a lot of references to the Cable Box being "The Hive" though. They are really pushing the Buzz City moniker though so they might try make that something that sticks as well.

That's awesome news for Charlotte. It'll be a nice recall to a great era of the NBA. Now the Rockets need to take notes, and get back to the Championship days with their threads.
This is all good. I've been getting the Hornets and Bobcats mixed up for years. Every NBA team should go back to their late 80's uniforms.
Never understood the appeal for the old Hornets uniforms. I've always thought they were horrible then, and still do now.
They werent horrible. Maybe you didn't like the colors but they were certainly unique to that city which is something the NBA is missing now. They had the unis, the court, the players, it was all a great experience that George Shinn destroyed on his own accord.
