And it is a concern. Has been for awhile. But I'd rather have someone with talent and a motivational issue than someone who gives it their all but has no talent. Obviously Parsons has plenty of talent and that is not an issue here, so I do understand why people would vote Parsons here.
And reading back through this threads posts it becomes obvious that you all have no clue. Just Google the terms above along along with NBA and the answer will become obvious.
i selected harden only because i didnt read the question properly lol...with injuries i would select parsons because it was obvious how much of an impact he has on our teams chemistry...but if we were saying an impact while having a bad night, it would be harden...every time he has an off night our whole team struggles...probably because of his lack of solid D and forcing up of bad shots trying to get himself going...not to mention the many errant passes/turnovers when he is having an off night.
The way the question is put, season ending surgery, Parsons, but that's only due to backup production. Lin/Brooks simply fill more of the hole than Garcia/Casspi. Come playoffs, if one is down, we're not going too far but Harden is bigger by quite a bit.
What Parsons does for this team is irreplaceable. We just don't have anyone else on this team that brings what Chandler brings. Howard can be somewhat mitigated by Asik. Harden can be somewhat mitigated by Lin. Who can replace Bangx25's tangible intangibles?
Rockets need to trade Parsons to another team so he can get the super max. Morey totally screwed up when he used the supermax on that bum Harden. It's a travesty that Parsons can only get at most 4yrs/$62mil on his next contract.
I don't think we have seen a healthy harden this year, just saying. Chandler is playing injured too but I think the way harden plays he needs to be 100% and you get a game changer. Chandler is the guy who compliments everyone else he has to have harden or howard getting the attention to be effective
Harden is battling Melo for the most disrespected star player in the NBA. This poll results are beyond laughable.
Its a case of what have you done for more lately. Harden hasn't been playing well recently, but Parsons is on a tear. Remember how Parsons started this year? People wanted to trade him as salary filler.
