Yep sure did state our argument instead of calling names please.

Mines is his contract, more athletic quicker "at this point"

If dwill comes in start does good as a pg I dot feel like its a fair to compare of he is the main ball handler not harden.

last year rockets beat the nets twice easily, with Lin & dwill at PG and the nets clearly had the best team. Ready to here your side.

Have you guys seen Williams play since returning from injury? He's averaging 18 and 10, on 51% shooting, 40% from 3, and the Nets have gone 3-3.

Last season he averaged 19 and 8, with a 57% TS%, on a Nets team that went 49-33. He was hurt to start the year and his numbers suffered, but you guys clearly aren't paying attention if you don't think he's a top flight PG.

I would gladly trade Asik and Lin for D-Will.

Yep I have he handles the ball ALL THE TIME you think our pg couldn't get 19/8 if he had the ball ALL THE TIME? Johnson is a unselfish player at this pint in his career he moves around and looks for a pass to catch and shoot.

with Lopez's injury and Brooklyn's all-in creed, I wonder if they would be willing to take Asik.
The question is, do they have anything that we want?

Morey was the pursuer of DWill. Yes PP and KG wanted to come to the Nets to win with DWill, not just play with DWill. If they're not in the thick of the playoff chase by Feb., there could be a move with them leaving for another contender. I'm going to emphasize COULD at this point.

Lin has played against DWill and has played better than him against him except for 1 game I can remember. DWill has peaked and on his way down, Lin is on his way up. People hear names and Lin and always put Lin down where Lin has held his own against some PGs and only has been schooled by a few (Rondo, CP3). For instance John Wall, Lin has outplayed John Wall playing against him. Now Wall has stepped up and Lin isn't in a system to get the usage Wall gets. But head to head, Lin has outplayed Wall.

I can't wait until Lin plays deron Williams and destroys him again, like he usually does. I know there are some rockets fans who want to see the opposite.

How many studs left Utah to become duds elsewhere, and I'm not just talking to you, Shandon. I mean, since when has someone gone to greater heights after leaving SLC?

As a rockets fan I always love when someone from our team excels no matter who it is.

As a basketball fan, Williams is light years ahead of Lin in the NBA. I'm sorry its just a fact.

Bogo. Everyone wants him. JET makes the $$$ work. Sweeten, please, with Rox option to swap draft choices in year(s) Nyets cannot trade theirs.

I don't agree. I watch Nets games and Knicks and Rockets games. Williams is better and more experienced. Lin is really only in his 2nd year as a full-time player. No way is Williams "light years" ahead of Lin. Williams and Lin, head to head, were competitive with each other with Lin coming out slightly ahead. Lin was not outclassed by Williams head to head except for one game I can remember.

Lin has played very competively against Williams. In fact, Linsanity started against Williams where Williams struggled offensively against Lin's defense but couldn't stop Lin. He made adjustments in subsequent games but Lin held his own in most of them and burned Williams in some. I don't like Williams. He plays up and down too and I don't think he's a good team guy. Rockets have an excellent developing player in Lin and they need to stop the nonsense. Here people are trade happy and always think the grass is greener with some other player, so this is just forum noise. But the Rockets organization need to think about supporting Lin more because he's earned it.

I read these quotes and was surprised because I didn't remember Lin doing that well against Deron Williams. I decided to take a look at the box scores to see how they had done head-to-head. Since 2012 they have only faced each other 4 times. Looking at the actual box scores I'm not seeing anything to backup the claims of Lin winning his matchups with Deron Williams.

I'd have to give Lin the edge in their first meeting but it wasn't one-sided by any means. Williams has outplayed Lin in the 3 subsequent games by a good amount.

The interesting thing to note is that Lin has had the higher usage rate in two of the four games and they were even in another. The only game where Williams had a higher usage rate was the second game when he scored 38.

Looks like Lin and Wall have only faced each other twice (once in '11-'12 and once in '12-'13 season).

I'd take DWill and Blatche for Asik, Lin and DMo. I know that takes us out of the longshot 2015 FAs but I'd try S&T using Harden or DWill as the centerpiece for one if DWill, Howard, Harden and Parsons don't show promise.
