I'd love to see Canaan get called up.

If Canaan gets the opportunity, I will be excited! Some people said he was the best scoring PG in the draft

Doesn't he need a jacket to be on the bench?

I'm not sure if that applies if he is injured in-game. That would suck if he gets fined.

Don't think Canaan is ready but it would be great to give him a taste of NBA minutes do he knows what he needs to work on at the RGV.

Nobody wants injuries to any player, especially not someone with the heart and hustle of Beverley.

Somebody set up a shrine to Jobu. We have obviously angered someone.

It's different for a guard than for a center, because of ball handling requirements. For catching and dunking might be 3 weeks; for dribbling and shooting (if it's the right hand) more like 6-8 weeks.

Recovery time depends on the type of fracture, comminution, displacement, etc. If they decide to put a plate or screws to fix the fracture he might come back more quickly. But athletes frequently accelerate their recovery process but typically for a normal individual you're talking probably 4-6 weeks. Based on the type of splint he had on probably has some type of metacarpal fracture.
