What is the problem with our guards, Shaq fouls out with about 5 minutes to go, and we don't go to Dream 1 friggen time, I mean come on, we need diversity here.

I am sick of watching our guards jacking up stupid shot after stupid shot, we are too much of a perimeter team.

Dream is looking real nice right now, let's get him involved on offense more often, so he can get his 2nd wind and start shutting down the middle.

Hakeem is scoring against quality people, it is time that the young guns on our team took a lesson from the old man.

I am starting a new campaign.....GET DREAM THE BALL !!!!

When the season began, I readily accepted that Dream's role would be minimized. However, this was due to my expectation that our guards would play up to a certain level. So far, I haven't seen that. As long as Dream is showing that he can help us, why not bring him in?

Let's not put in our young guys for the sake of bringing on the new and taking out the old. Go with what's productive.

Not to mention, that Dream is shooting 50% for the season, Taylor is shooting 49% and Collier (the bust?) is shooting 53%, does this not call out....NO SHOUT OUT...for getting the ball into the post?

Especially since our top guards are off to a REAL SLOW start this year....Mobley is shooting 41%, Francis 42%, heck even Walt is only shooting 41%....GET THE DARN BALL INSIDE, let the big men get some easy shots for our jump shooters.

SMARTS, people...I want to see some damn maturing going on here !!!

    ARGH !!!!

Definitely gotta get Dream goin....What did he get last nite?? I didn't see the game, I heard he got 17 pts. and he got 13 tonite with 7 boards..not too bad for the old guy that most people were writing off before the season. [IMG]

If the guards aren't hitting they need to send that sucker into the post and let Dream go to town, especially tonite with Shaq fouled out. But I think I didn't see Dream take more than one shot in the entire 4th . What's up with that???

    DaDakota,

Man, I don't know how you got those stats so quick. I just entered them into my spreadsheet.

Just to further prove your argument, Walt is only shooting .391 from the floor.

You got all the other ones right (along with your point).

My apologies. Your (and Clutch's) stats were correct. The ESPN box score for the Portland game had Walt shooting 2 of 12, but he shot 3 of 12.

I couldnt agree more. I am sick of it, our guards don't even atempt to get Hakeem involved with our offense. They give him a quick look and don't even bother to allow him to seal his man so he can recieve the ball. The man can still score and contribute. I have to believe Rudy is not telling his guards to get the ball to Dream! Our offense is pathetic at times with absolutely no flow or continuity. The isolation play for Francis or Mobley while everybody else on the team stands on the other side of the floor out past the threepoint line is utter garbage. Rudy get rid of it. But not to get off the subject.........GIVE DREAM THE DARN BALL!!!

Let me also join in and vent my frustrations.
With Shaq fouling out, and Hakeem playing better than any of our gaurds last night...they SHOULD HAVE gone to the dream!!!!

I agree. I am sick of seeing our guards suck up a game but still take every shot. If they were actually hitting the shots it would be a different story. I think Francis and Anderson have been big letdowns this seasons. If Francis wants to be a star he needs to start playing like one. I am sick of seeing him doing cheap MTV gigs and other spotlight events. He needs to stop worrying about being a celebrity and play some ball.

Well I've always said this and I'm going to say it again. Dream needs to get his 12-15 touches per game for him to get going, especially early in the game. I strongly think Dream can put anywhere between 15-20 points per game instead of some of our guards just jacking a poor shot off. He has showed us that he can still hang with the best of them, frustrating Shaq isn't an easy thing to do, but Dream came through! JUST GIVE HIM THE BALL MORE! 'Nuff said.

SICK AND TIRED! WE ARE ALL JUST SO SICK OF IT.

Look boys, the ball is going to be in Francis' and Mobley's hands, get used to it. That will not change. I do agree that there are times when Hakeem needs more touches, but we are going to live and die by our guards for a long time!
