And yet your posts in this thread are a little petulant.

Doc hears the rumblings, the deals being discussed. He also posts his opinion on what he would be cool with without saying, "Yeah, I heard directly that Millsap yadda yadda yadda." And so maybe people take the mixture of actual trade talk with fan talk as all insider trade talk.

Not that he takes time in every tweet to say, "This is what I heard. That is what I'd like."

And what's the deal with all the changed / extra usernames? Got a stalker ex-girlfriend you're avoiding?

I give Morey credit for seeing the potential in Asik. Lin's contract was more a call from Les.

Lin is too much of a team player to pull an Asik. But if Asik is successful in getting traded, Lin best course would be to demand a trade before Feb. 20.

However Lin's attitude of "its all in Gods hands" will leave him rotting on the bench behind Beverley on a team where he is not utilised correctly.

    I'm just mad bro. :(
Nothing personal against anyone here, and nor do I blame DocRocket for any of this. I just think he's a bit too hyped up.

Oh, and no. I used to furiously change IP addresses when Clutch would ban me. I've never revealed my previous usernames up until today. Doubt anyone remembers to be honest. Plus, I don't consider myself to be a dumbass teenager anymore. heh.

The Media doesn't hate Houston. They just don't care. Just like they don't care about OKC or San Antonio. We are not New York Miami Chicago LA. We are not west coast east coast. Nothing personal just people don't care about Houston outside of Houston.

I think they definitely would have gotten a better deal before Asik went public and demanded a trade.

I think your characterization of setting the team up not to **** themselves royally by losing Asik for garbage at the deadline as "taking a big risk" is far from apt.

So true -- even further true with merchandising. I can never find Rockets gear up here in Illinois. I always see Brooklyn, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, and Boston. That's it.

Only place I have bought Rockets gear is on the web, NYC NBA Store or Houston.

I agree with this take. I mean, other than "serious injury" can Asik's value be any lower than right now? I think he will come back and provide some good minutes. He will look good on the court and help the bench unit and team win. And then when the trade deadline comes those scenarios that SC1211 posted about will manifest.
