Time to mend fences. Put Asik out there. Even when unhappy he's a better defender than Greg Smith.

Also, Arn Tellem will let him know it. If he wants to suck just because he's on our team he's gonna tank his future contract as well. No point in going down that path. No other NBA player in that situation would pull the pin and eat the grenade like that.

bingo.

Will link the article later, but basically folks need to understand that Asik's value in this era is substantially greater than perhaps a decade ago.

Most importantly, his value is derived from his performance, not potential. A good comparison of raw potential vs. Performance would be the draft positions of Tyson chandler vs. Steven Adams. Chandler was disappointing early, but stuck around and was allowed to develop due to his raw potential. Adams was talented, but didn't wow most folks and was even labeled a bust by simmons. Given a chance, he is performing well but only sees the court if he plays with tons of energy and does what he is asked. Otherwise Perkins gets playing time.

Bottom line is that Asik's value is derived in the same manner. People will take a flyer on a meek and injured Bynum but no one will pay above 1-2mill for an unmotivated and regressed asik.

Lmao at people hating on Doc Rocket. Even Doc or cyberx couldn't save Morey from that failure.

What is Jay Z a king or something he takes up the entire entrance hours before a game?

why is everyone projecting their disappointment with the lack of a trade onto Doc Rocket? Whoever you're mad at ...it's not Doc Rocket.

Eh, Doc Rocket has been wrong about Ersan, Eric Gordon, Kevin Garnett and others. He was right about Dwight Howard, and lets be honest, there was a 95 percent chance of Howard coming.
