    Could be another bluff by Morey. Letting teams know he is willing to walk away if they dont give him what he wants. We'll see.

    I'm pretty sure this is a bluff, just to raise the offers one more time. Or maybe Asik was like, "Don't trade me to Philly or Boston, keep me instead! I'll play!"

    Either way, Morey remains a genius.

    Perhaps #1-10 trade targets in any trade involving Asik? Certainty of today's self imposed trade deadline? Truthfulness behind the reported injuries to Asik maybe? Who else do you envision leaving the team and likelihood of that happening.

    It would do him no harm sharing concrete information with us fans, what's the worse that can happen? Some other GM finding out (how exactly?) and simply denying he ever spoke with you!

    Wouldn't it sound great for the sources to be "clutchfans" or "clutch" rather than high school kids and random nobodies around the nation?

    Wouldn't hurt you or the team to obtain and leak some stuff is what I'm saying! ;)

    I've said all along that I didn't see a lot of teams lining up to give us very much for Asik. He's good on defense, but a liability on offense. I never thought we could get much more than a late first rounder, or just an average NBA player in return.

    I hope Asik decides to be part of our team for the rest of the year, we can use him.
