It's getting funnier by the moment McHale is wanting Asik back and Asik put on the No Comment face........

 

I know after Dwight called Harden's defense or the lack of it out, he has improved at a pretty rate.Another reason was a poster here called him out on his tweeter and that got James angry. He replied only god can judge me and since then he has been playing a lot better defense.

 

Someone tell Kevin Asik isn't coming back.

 

Smith to takeover Asik’s role as backup center

With Omer Asik’s time as the Rockets’ backup center presumably over, coach Kevin McHale said he would turn to Greg Smith off the bench, rather than going with a center-by-committee approach based on matchups. He did not, however, describe Asik’s time in Houston as over.

“I think Greg will get the minutes,” McHale said. “We’ve been looking for another big body, especially when Dwight (Howard) goes out. I really think Omer is going to be back. I really think his knee is feeling better. I think he’ll be back soon.”

“I thought Greg looked pretty good coming back in, considering he hadn’t played,” McHale said. “He missed a lot of training camp, played a little bit and then missed a lot. He hasn’t had much rhythm all year, but we need him.

“That’s where not having Omer hurts us. When you go to your bench, you have to be able to rebound the ball. That’s been an issue all year long.”

Smith said he does need to work his way back but is happy to finally have that chance.​

I thought Asik had thigh contusion or someome injury like that?. His knees were busted to?

 

Damn Greg Smith is gonna be in foul trouble alot this season

This was again one of those games that you loved to watch. It looked like the Rockets were having good time on the floor. For a change the ball was moving and everybody was getting good looks and shot the ball. Smith playing clearly helped the bench as they've been a bit lost lately lacking a center. Scoring 109 pt against a super defensive team like Chicago, while looking to play for fun, is great for the team. Let's see how Indiana looks like.
