I'm no medical professional but I'd say it's always worth trying.

All LOFers are conspiracy theorists. it's racism, it's because he's getting traded etc.

Fact of the matter is that jason, Craig, Jonathan feigen and others have all said it is the back. They are also saying he is in so much pain right now that he is also likely out for Wednesdays game.

Call me crazy, but these would be the last 3 people on earth I would expect a cover up from.

I go over and read Jason's timeline pretty regularly just to see if there's any interesting tidbits about the team, and I always see him trying to patiently reason with crazy LOF's. If I were him I wouldn't even dignify them with a response (or even block some of them with how rude they can get) but he's obviously a much better, nicer person than I am.

And I bet even with a back spasms he could score more than 6 pts and 2 assets vs the Sac Queens.

And get that done with less than 15 minutes on a series of 4 minutes each.

Keith Jones declared game-time decision on everybody. Jeremy Lin is not even here, but that's what he said - feigen 12/18/13 11:25am

Injury updates: James Harden (ankle) probable, Chandler Parsons (back) game-time but expected to play, Jeremy Lin (back) out tonight.

The Rockets are "open" is not really saying much since given how Morey is willing to trade anyone on the team.

Also like it said in the article it would be very difficult to find a taker who is willing to give you anything significant for Lin.

Bottom line is this is the ideal opportunity to move Lin. There are teams that need a PG bad (Milwaukee, Chicago, others) and his contract combined with Asik's contract yields a lot of flexibility in incoming players/salaries. Not only that but right now Asik and Lin are owed around $18-$19 million each and the synergy is that both guys could be traded for a player/players making $12-$13 million this season using the 150% rule. That means essentially a team can dump a large salary, take back Asik or Lin, and offset that $15 million they have to pay them next year with the savings on that big $12-13 million contract they don't have to pay the rest of this year. So, Asik and Lin's contracts are positives not negatives in deal-making right now.

So he's out again tonight. That sucks. I'm ready for him to come back and return to form.
