Giannis, Sanders and Ilyasova make up a really strong young core. Milwaukee went from a high-scoring backcourt to a scary frontcourt. Cool.
The only problem with him, and truly the only thing keeping him from being a superstar, is an elite outside shot. This is a real problem for the kid, because without a wet 3 point shot, he is a tweener: power forward on offense/small forward on defense. But if the kid gets a deadly outside shot, his potential is greater than KD, honestly. However, that's a BIG if. It if doesn't get that outside shot, he's a rich man's stacey augmon.
Looks like he's got a tremendous amount of potential. Isn't this how T-Mac looked before coming into the league? Some defensive potential, surprising handles, good passing, shaky shot? I wonder if they have the right organization to help this guy develop.
He has some polish in his game, surprised he wasn't picked earlier. Even saw the classic dirk kick out fadeaway in there
Solid stat line tonight: 28 minutes 10 points: 4-6 FG (2-3 3pt FG) 7 rebounds 4 assists 1 block Hopefully he will get around the same type of playing time as this game from now on.

Apparently he's 6'10" and a quarter now. And he will most likely be 7 feet by the end of his growing period. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-b...t-done-growing-likely-end-195429325--nba.html <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/9k-oxLTlis4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Antetokounmpo made his first NBA start tonight. It looks like that will be the norm for him from here on out.
