I was projecting Asik to Portland for Robin Lopez's expiring contract plus either CJ McCollom or their 2016 first round pick for at least two months; I switched my predicted trade partner to Boston a week or so ago, as I decided that Portland was too red hot and sure of themselves right now to mess with a good thing. Anyway, that's what Portland could and would offer for Asik.

I still say it's Boston but Portland can offer Houston pretty much exactly the same sort of package.

If the rumors about Cavs getting Green (and his contract) and us getting picks is solid then I would be donw with this.

No way we're going to trade Asik to Portland, why would we want to make them better when we're going to go after LA in 2015?

Many are delusional (Batum, LA, Lopez - Mccallum & Picks), but I don't think we're lucky to get what you said. That sounds like an offer Morey already has.

    Doc Rocket riddle solved:

Asik for Spencer Hawes and Jason Richardson

4 - Hawes is long term "mainstay" starter at the 4. Perfect fit with Dwight and as back up center. Can probably be resigned to an affordable long term deal.

2 - JRich is a 2 guard scheduled to return from knee surgery in January.

    Urich - Spenser for Hire (purvey/purchase), J-RICH

Wide Array, Bombs Away - both are excellent 3 pt shooters which gives us a wide array of 3 pt shooting at every position.

If it happens today, Pray - could possibly mean Rockets will accept this deal today if they aren't able to work a much larger one for Rondo or possibly Millsap.

If this is indeed true, I'd love to see Waiters/Thompson to Houston, Asik to Boston, Green to Cavs. What say you?

CJ McCollum would be a perfect trade chip to acquire/young asset to develop
