It's not about Rondo and Kris Humphries?

So this self imposed deadline being the 19th means that they till 12pm midnight tonight, or till 12pm tomorrow night?

Asik would also be a rental for 1.5 years. UFA after.

Doubt anything happens before the game.....too much of a distraction.

    But hasn't it been a distraction already???

Defensively, yes. Shumpert can be a true lock down defender. True talent and not all this hustle nonsense that gets you nowhere in the post season.

Maybe I'm missing something, don't I don't see many connections between your interpretations and DocRocket's post.

How does "Asiks decay makes way 4 new mainstay" have anything to do with Lin?

"2 Purvey and Display array of bombs away" - The Rockets shoot more 3 pointers than any team in the league. That they would add a 3 point shooter to the roster may have nothing to do with Canaan. "2 purvey" or as you point out "distribute" may actually indicate we're going after an elite passer, ie Rondo. "Bombs" could be expect more alley-oops.

The connection you make to MKG feels like a stretch. I actually see more of a link between "pray" and GilCHRIST.

Still, thanks for your POV. Even if Doc is a troll, he still helps us pass the time.

Rondo and KHump are great assets to have in the bank for a Love deal. So yes.

Have to agree... Morey won't settle for less while we still have a shot. We aren't in full "win now" mode yet, but when the time comes we'll have options open to us.

Shumpert is the shooting guard version of Beverley on defense but offensively he's worse than Beverley. Shumpert does help us in the shooting guard defensive department. It's nice to have him if we get him but don't overrate him.

Pretty much what I expected regarding Atlanta. Ferry's been looking for his own big fish since he took over the Hawks. It probably makes more sense for them to hold on to Millsap and their picks and wait until a star comes available.

Good defender, yes. Lock down, no. Has health problems too.

Midnight is 12am, not pm. I'm pretty sure its 11:59 pm on the 19th. And the deadline isn't necessarily self imposed, it is due to the rules on trading newly aquired pieces.

    The MKG Connection

The MKG connection is fairly prominent. Morey really likes his game, and he tried to get up the board on draft night to take him. For some reason, Charlotte picked him up (terrible choice on their part based on the makeup of their team).

Earlier tweets by Doc Rocket (that people hate - whatever)

    • "queens to queens level 3" The Queens city is Charlotte
    • "swiiipe." - the 3 iii's again. Michael Kidd Gillchrist has that 3 name, name.

Pulling off a 3 (or 4 team) move like this has to be difficult, but I think the pieces would be worth it for us. And for those worried about future flexibility this move doesn't hurt us on that front either.
