Was born in 82 but can remember a lot of Olajuwon early years, and every year since then, all of championship years. The disappointing Barkley/Pippen years, I hated the Cat loved moochie and Scottie Brooks.

I'd argue that Beverley's suckage has plenty to do with playing with Harden, his rate is so amusing that Basketball reference is listing him as a shooting guard now.

so the conclusion is, hey, no one can play well with Harden, might as well play the guy with less room to fall right?

I'm not saying Lin isn't marketable but he's not the savior some of you want him to be. It's hard talking to people who can't be realistic about a guy, the assist numbers are all time and Lin is at 4 in rockets history in a very mediocre numbers list.

Pippen was an ungrateful punk who stole money. Barkley was good before his injury.

If you remember Dream's early years and that was before clutch and you listened to talk radio back then you'll know half the city was upset with him and wanted him gone. Not me of course. It didn't help Jordan was killing it and then the critic of Dream not eating for his religious month which effected his playing...

No one is saying Lin is a savior, dumba...

We're saying he is vastly better than Bev and should start.

This is what some 99ers say and get called "only fans" from idiots like you

I can remember my uncles being mad about taking Olajuwon when we could have had Jordan and remember hearing how he had a temper, don't remember too much about people wanting him gone it was more we coulda had Jordan, all in all I'm happy we got Olajuwon I just wish we would have traded Sampson for Clyde and had him and Olajuwon for their entire careers

Ok Bev has "thrived" with a 11.4 Per as the starting PG who plays heavy minutes lmfao.

And I already posted many games Bev's "legendary D" got completed owned by mediocre PGs

This is exactly what LOH's do. They can't admit that Lin is good- it's all about his marketablity and the $ from the Asian market. They don't ever give him credit for his skills. And if we say Lin is good then all of a sudden we are labeled an LOF and accused of saying that Lin is a saviour and up there with Jordan and Lebron. Sheesh. Lin is a good player who is continuously improving and who easily should be starting over Bev. I'm guessing Bev is almost dead last in assist numbers all time for the Rockets.

Look dude that's enough with the names, when you promote someone over their ability it's hard not to say you're only a fan of that player. And with some of the talk I really believe that some of his fans truly believe he is an elite player. If you can't understand that then I feel sorry for you.

Only because we were not winning the title and Dream had problems with some teams like the Jazz and Sonic. Not eating during Ramadan which hurt his stamina and playing didn't help but that is history.

You know talk radio it brings out the crazies but yeah it was 50-50 people who wanted to trade him for good players back. No one thought he was a scrub who should be dumped for trash

What if bev is being utilized to play a defensive role as he is a shut out defender when locked on. PER is highly determined on the offensive production of the player and last time I checked our starting 5 was one of the best ranked in the league. So why all the uproar? O that's right it's about lin smh.

And if all else fails ... they'll say "racism" ... before any LOFs do.

Or say you're touching the holy ground of Olajuwon, Yao and they they've never played for the New York Knicks or Golden State Warriors.

    It is funny as hell.

Everyone knows Harden and Howard are the stars.

But saying Lin is way better than Bev and should start is just common sense.

Saying Lin is the 3rd or 4th best player doesn't make you an "only fan". Your dumb comments make you look idiotic.

Guess what Morey said last year and this year.

Last year he said Lin was the 3rd most responsible for Rockets winning games after Harden, Asik, and Lin was slightly above or the same as Parsons last year.

This year he said Lin was the 2nd best offensive player on this team.

I guess the GM is an "only fan"

How many times do I have to post the long list of games in Bev very short NBA career where he was completely abused by mediocre players for the "legendary defender label" is once and for all gone

A guy born in 1982 calling me kid? Hilarious. And I couldn't tell that it was a grown folks conversation from your posts. The other guys are making good points but your replies sound like they're coming from a 10 year old that doesn't know crap about basketball.
