Yeah it was a boneheaded decision to let Harden come back into that game. he hurt us more than he helped us. He hit a 3 as soon as he got back and was 3/5 from 3 point land at that point but then went on to brick 4 straight 3's to end up 3/9. He could not drive or put any weight on the leg. He could not get lift for his shots. He could not move around well on D Totally defied logic to bring him back that game.

Generally high ankle sprains are pretty bad that normally costs players weeks before they can come back. So I am guessing that Harden's is a mild one if they are 50/50 on if he can play in the next game.
Very true. I saw him step on that guys foot on purpose so he could hurt his ankle and then be given an excuse to play bad defense. It is indisputable.
High ankle sprain? I think he can still play 46 minutes straight. Of course, that's probably why I'd be a hit with the coaching staff.
I added my part in bold. ------------------------------------------------------- http://www.aofas.org/footcaremd/conditions/ailments-of-the-ankle/pages/high-ankle-sprain.aspx Recovery The recovery for high ankle sprains can take considerably longer than typical ankle sprains. In fact, it can take six to seven weeks before athletes return to play. In those cases in which a separation of the tibia and fibula or fracture has occurred and surgery is necessary, patients will likely need to be nonweightbearing in a cast followed by a walking boot for about 12 weeks. It is important to do early range of motion passively, meaning with the help of a therapist that moves the ankle, so help avoid stiffness. The screws are commonly taken out in a second, small surgery before full weightbearing is allowed so they will not break. Outcome Outcomes are generally good if the injury is recognized and treated appropriately or if your dumbass stand-in head coach didn't keep you out on the floor thinking you can just "walk it off". It is more likely, however, to have some stiffness of the ankle after a high ankle sprain as compared to a standard ankle sprain. This is especially true if a fracture has occurred.
